Sumayad oh no man even though you dont want a baby to get obese you cant starve them because you are scared they will get fat. You MIL probably means well in her mind but it seems very strange to me.
Ceareal lasting for 2 months is a long time - Bekahs at creche is finished in like 3 weeks.

Didi it sounds like a really nice idea. I found I preferred to send Bekah to creche as I could not find someone that I 100% trusted with my child and my home. There are too many horror stories and at least at creche there were other people.
However many of the ladies her like Pat and Deja have found great ladies to help them and so have many moms.

Didi I love your idea. If you could please teach my once a week domestic not to clean everything with the same cloth that she cleans the toilet with! For me personally if there was such an option I would get a nanny/domestic that knows all those things that you have mentioned, sounds more like an au pair!

Morning ladies.

Hope all is well this morning.

Jana, jy is beslis nie 'n slegte ma nie. Jané het ook al 'n kwaai stem en 'n stare down of tien van my gekry, 'n ma kan ook net soveel hanteer.

I have been wondering, as some of you know I have been looking for better career prospects for quite some time, I stumbled across an idee a few days ago. What would you ladies prefer, a qualified domestic to look after your child at home or a school to send your child to? Im looking into nanny training as we dont have that fasility in a 200km radius from where I stay. This training consists of baby massage, nutrition for the whole family, development, educational play time, first aid course, hygiene and proper house keeping skills and a whole lot more.

I need your ideas on this before I can go to hubby with this.

Hello Ladies

Marijke, Sorry that B fell so hard yesterday, well you did try your best to prevent it though

Marilu, it's so sweet that M copies her daddy, and sorry about all the interruptions due to M's cough, I really hope that it clears up now.

Deja, how you feeling after that rough night? Did N sleep right through?

Skitter, good luck with all the washing today, and with your new live in.

Hey Cinds, that great that J has been sleeping through :-)

MIL irritated me yesterday, remember the day b4 I was saying that Z fell asleep while chewing on some chicken, so obviously hubby told her because we found it so amusing. So yesterday she hells and says that we should not feed the child at night blah blah blah, I'm like it's not like we give him a meal, we just give him something to nibble on because he looks at us curiously when we eat and we not compfortable eating infront of him when he is not eating. She is petrified of Z getting fat, because she says fat babies are unhealthy, I get her point but Z is far from fat. So this morning I asked her if Z is running out of Cereal because I haven't bought cereal for him in like 2 months, she says no there is still enough cereal. Can you believe that she only gives him 3 TEA SPOONS of cereal???? That is the amount we gave him when we started him on solids when he was 4 months, he is almost 8 months and she still gives him the same amount. Weekends I give him like 5 TABLE Spoons (as per the box) full and he finishes it.
Sorry for moaning but I'm just irritated right now.

Don't throw me with stones here I was just laying in bed last night thinking that B does most of her new moves in her cot first, she started crawling there and she stood up on her own the other night and now does it everywhere so I was wondering if you co-sleep when does the baby get time to do that?
