Kristin: I'm in Taiwan, teaching English.

I took Ashlee for injections today. So far she seems to be ok. Hope we have a quiet night.

She weighs 6.5 kgs at 5 months, that's more than double her birth weight. What do your LO's weigh? Dr is happy though, he says she's average weight, and that's by Chinese standards.

Hi Suriya!! So glad you have joined us. CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy!!!!

I definitely think the LO's develop differently, because Ashlee doesn't sit on her own at all. Unless I put her in her Bumbo chair, and she doesn't like that much.

I am thinking of starting solids soon. I will take her to the dr soon for her injections and then speak to him. I really miss having a clinic where I can just go see a sister. I used to take Amy to the Clicks pharmacy if I had any questions.

I have been lucky that Ashlee has been fine for a while, and it's summer here now so hopefully she won't be getting colds or flu soon.

So glad our group is growing, wonder where all the other moms went???

Hannah is rolling from back to side and side to back, and onto back from tummy, but I haven't seen her roll from her back onto her tummy yet?!

She has been sitting briefly on her own for a few weeks though so maybe she's just developing differently.

I make the mistake of comparing what Mia used to do to with what Hannah does. At 5 months Mia was already holding her own bottle and putting her own dummy properly back in her mouth. Neither of which Hannah is doing. But... Hannah is sitting earlier and phsyically bigger, i.e. the starting of formula and solids already!

Make no mistake though, the look is there in Hannahs eyes that she just wants to get up and start playing with her sister!! And of course eat the chippies and sweeties too :)

Hannah also has a cough again. Thankfully Mia is ok (for the moment!). Creche is a blessinga nd a curse!
