December 2009 moms!

Hey guys! We're doing well thanks. Back at work which is actually a good thing as my brain was melting! Cas has her first creche cold which really sucks but Calpol seems to be helping. We started rice cereal last week and she's taken to it quite well. She also enjoys the baby fruit juice which I water down alot. She's started sitting briefly on her own which is so exciting. It's just lovely all of it! How're you guys?

Helo Beautiful Mommies! Mia and Hannas Mom Welcome, georgous babies! How are you moms, wonderful to see another dec mom. Elaine dont tell me about the rolling part, i cant leave Amara on our bed anylonger because he rolls to the edge. Kristin how are you and your beautiful family?

I have been supplementing with formula at daycare for Ashlee for quite a few weeks now I had the same problem, she is drinking 180-200 mls at a time and I just don't get enough pumping. She is doing very well on both, although at she does prefer the breast milk. At night I have to sometimes top up with formula, after a full day's work I just don't have enough milk left

Ashlee is just too cute at the moment, she has started rolling over Now she prefers to sleep on her tummy. I put her down on her back (like the doctor said) and when I look again she is on her tummy. Like mommy like daughter.

Hannah was born on 17 December 2009. Weighed 3.105kg.

I've just started her on rice cereal because I cannot keep up with her demand for breast milk and I work full day so to try pump over 560ml is not working out really. And I would rather start solids than formula, although the way she's going I think I'll have to topup with formula within the next few weeks

Hey Elaine, my lo is fine, there is nothing as frustrating as a sick child, i just feel so helpless. But it does build up their immune system making them stronger at least there is an advantage to their sickness.

Hi Ladies. How are all the LOS???

We are doing well, although I think Ashlee might be getting sick, she has started with a slight fever, and she slept a LOT at daycare today. It's really tough with her being at daycare, and then her sister also brings all sorts of germs home.

Wow Kristin you are lucky that you could take 6 months maternity leave.

It's true what you say Nels_n as long as they are in good hands, we manage to cope with them being away from us.

Kristin- i know how you feel i went back to work 3wks ago, it was hard but i coped well knowing that he is in good hands. i was looking forward to the adult interaction but feeling sad that i wouldnt see the big milestones like walking! Elain- how are you doin?
