March / April 2009 Babies (PF)

Lauren - my MiL won't talk to us or come around, she has seen Tadhg maybe 3 times since he was born and will barely even touch him when she is here - but the last time things she said to me about my mum opened up my wrath and I just lat loose, so yeah I really don't care if she chooses to stay away now, her loss. Even considering the nasty way she has always treated my hubby I also wouldn't trust her with our child. Sad but true, there are unfortunatly some bad people out there

Misty - Tadhg also had seperation issues at the beginning of this year, I think it was because he was off creche from mid december then only went back mid jan. He is slowly gotten out of it but it does still come about every now and again now but other times he is content playing alone even if I pop into another room to do something, but other times he freaks and runs after me. Guess time fixes it as they begin to realise that you do come back! I started talking to him when I'm in another room so he still hears me, he usually is ok then.

Misty - hubby said that its my decision if I dont want to see his folks. Jensen goes with DH whenever he goes to visit, so he gets to see his grandparents, and they are more than welcome to take him for the day if they want to.

I would never keep him from his grandparents, no matter how badly they treat me!

Jensen is starting to develop seperation anxiety, starts screaming when I leave him with the daymom in the mornings and when at home he needs to be carried around with us or just follows us from room to room - doesnt want to be alone.

My son is like that as well, our nanny stays with us when he hear the gate open he runs to the door i must pick up, when i put him down he cries so much, he also does the same when i give to his nanny.It's like he does not know her at all when i am around. He would let go when he hears something interesting on TV, a song or loude noise.

So Noah has refused to have his pic taken he is all of a sudden going through a MAJOR time of Seperation Anxiety. At Daycare he wants to be around the teacher all the time, she doesn't even get a break and when he gets home I cannot be out of eyesight he follows me everywhere even to the Loo. I am naturally very happy my baby loves me but also very frustrated as I dont get any ME TIME. Have any of you experienced this?

Lauren my inlaws and I did not speak for an entire year, loooooong story. How does your husband feel about you not visiting his parents, what about Jensen does he get to see his Grandparents? Morgan was robbed of not having a bond with her Grandparents because of our animocity so I've really put my pride in my pocket and tried to sort things out with them but I do also let them know what the boundaries are.

Misty - advanced in some ways, behind in others, im sure its the same for all little babies.

I heard that apparently boys are alot lazier than girls with regards to starting to walk, run etc - at least, thats the excuse im sticking to at the moment because Jensen is far too lazy to start walking!!!

Im glad to hear that I am not the only one that has problems with my inlaws

Just take the comments and throw them out the window - I know its hard to not pay attention to them, but trust me, it certainly helps to try!

Ive been told that im a bad mother by my MIL so many times that I dont even go visit there anymore!

Noah is walking like a pro now, they having pics taken at Daycare tomorrow and I'm so excited, will be cutting his hair today for the pics I dont have the patience to grow it, it's just to curly. What's up with my inlaws geez my daughter has straight hair and Noah doesn't so you should hear all the comments about his hair very irritating.
