Misty - sorry to hear about Noah getting sick again! What did he have last time when he was admitted?

I reckon the costs to get a nanny at home would be close to 3 x if not more expensive than what you are paying now!

Karatemum - when did Tadhg start walking? Jensen is still only crawling - at lightning speed and pulling himself up and walking against furniture!

Have any of you taken your LO's for a haircut yet? Jensen's hair is getting SO long and wild but I honestly cant see him sitting still for him to get his hair cut!

Gum boots sounds very cute KarateMum, I see those are in fashion for adults now as well

Noah is sick this morning and I am freaked out his was in hospital for 8days last month and has the same symptoms now. I am afraid to take him to the Paediatrician eventhough I know it's the right thing to do. I have used the pump on him this morning and sent the Nebuliser to Daycare. Times like this I wish I could be a stay at home Mom but just can't afford that.

We pay the Daycare R1050 so I was laying awake at 3 this morning thinking about getting a Nanny to come in everyday but it would work out more expensive, she'll be eating at our house, I'll have to ensure there is breakfast, lunch and a snack for Noah which is currently part of the R1050.My little vent for the day.

Lauren - Thanks, slowly getting back to 'normal' but Tadhg keeps me busy which is a good thing. Tadhg also never wore shoes before but insists on walking so I had to get him some as it's too cold in socks and those soft ones would get wet through. Also thinking of a pair of gumboots for this winter, I'll see!

Misty - Your baba is too cute! Tadhg only got his first pair now at 14 months! He is not a shoe person at all, I checked out those pitta patta ones you talked about, they are the same price as woolies ones. But I need more hard sole ones, we don't have a car and so use the pram a lot but in malls etc he loves to walk so I need something where his feet don't get cold and/or wet.

I really think I should invest in a proper pair of shoes for Jensen, but he really doesnt seem to like anything thats too "firm" on his feet if you understand what im saying...

Your boy is just as cute Lauren!! Last year this time we were snuggling with newborns, this CT weather is making me think of being in bed,snuggling and listening to the rain outside.

KarateMum I have invested in 3 pairs of Pitta Patta shoes for Noah and he is Loving it. It is soo comfortable and makes walking easy he is even starting to climb on the couch freaks me out though. I bought size 12-18 and there is still a gap infront. With my LG I bought all the cute woolies and edgars shoes and it went to waste so Noah had no shoes up until a year old.
