Sterr colic not lekka but dont worry about the 1st time mom worries i was just the same and one of the reasons i went was coz Arwen wasnt sleeping at night.

sorry I'm in a hurry so just pasting my post from the march/april thread


So...we started assmebling the Ikea stuff. Oh.My.Word.
I am so sore and tired!!!!! And we still have so much more to do today!
Plus today we have to go buy towels, bedding, groceries etc. Our trunks are still not here so we cant cook as all the kitchen stuff is in there. No idea when we getting them.
So after today, we have spent all the money the company gave us. It's a bit annoying as they only gave us half the money we are entitled to and will only do another transfer when we provide receipts showing the money is gone.
So I told DH that on Monday he must give them the receipts so he can get the rest of the money on Monday too, as I want to buy baby stuff next week and guess what his response was??? (bear in mind next week I'm over 32 weeks)
"Do you have to buy the baby stuff now?"

HELLO!!! When does he want me to buy the baby stuff!!!!!!!!!
So I'm a little tense (again) as it seems he thinks there is no rush to get money for the baby things..........

so tuesday I have my appointment with the midwife and after that I'm collecting my kitties from the airport. shame. my poor little

Sorry no more personals, Nathan is kind of sleeping - he will only sleep in lounge on pillow or in my arms - and Missy is running around the house with an open packet of Marie Biscuits... guess I'm going to have to vacuum (again). And she has learnt to climb up on the bed, couch and table (where she found a box of quality streets the other day...). The kids are keeping me on my toes!

Hi Ladies

Hope you are all well?

Sorry for being MIA - enjoying the last couple of days with my parents before they have to leave again. Not looking forward to Sunday - my Mom has been a big help especially since DH is STILL in Durban. Hopefully he will be back by Monday.

Any way, I took Inge to the dr yesterday because I was paranoid and worried that I might be doing something wrong and I thought maybe something is wrong with Inge. She is very healthy except for having COLIC - as I suspected. Paranoid first time mom!!!!!!! She is 5 weeks old today and dr is very happy with her progress. She weights 4.5kg and length = 58cm. I don't have to go back when she is 6 weeks old as he did a proper check on her. I can go on with the Buscopan and the Bennets Colic and just pray that she will outgrow the Colic by 3 months (I am praying for before then). We just struggle between 18:30 and 19:30 at night so I shouldn't be complaining as it could have been worst but that hour is exhausting. I can carry on with the Isomil and so far her tummy has been working every day!!!!!!!!!

Once Inge settles at night she sleeps well. Last night she slept from 21:00 to 01:30 - drank and then fell asleep again until just after 06:00.
