Yvette, sorry no advice Aiden is the same during the day but at night when I put him down half sleepy he goes done without a fuss now and again he will be niggly then I just comfort him a bit pat his back and rock the camp cot untill he is very drowsy then I leave him

They went for there jabs yesterday and are they mizzy o my word had panado twice last night they didn't sleep at all from 11 yesterday morning so at 4;30 I gave them a bath and bottle panado and they fell a sleep till about 7:30 had bottle slept till 11 gave bottle slept till 4 gave bottle slept till 6

I find if I don't change there nappy at night unless it's a poo or a leak they drink there bottle half a sleep I hardly burp any more and I put them down they sleep better

There weights are Aiden: 4.77kgs and LLewellyn 4,75 and both 51cm so they nearly picked up a kilo in two weeks fatty boys or actually I think they on par with newborns

Girls Aiden HATES his car chair and driving everytime we have to go somewhere he will scream all the why there and all the way back, we wanted to go to Lydenburg the weekend but I said to hubby I think we must give it a skip cause Aiden will drive us mad for that 3hr journey

Had my gyne check up he is putting me on more hormones for the bleeding that still hasn't stopped it's been 8weeks and 2 days now shame feel so sorry for hubby I did warn him last night

Thanks for your info ont he timing, thats how we have been doing, but 2 nurses have said otherwise, our babies didn't like that and would wake up their 3 hours, I got so annoyed the one night with the stand in nurse, our routine ws all stuffed up we had to start over.

Alexia is sleeping 4 hours, the other 2 sleep about 3hrs 15 mins or push to 3 and a half, which is great, but still dont manage to get sleep. I was up since 2am with Alexia, porr thing battling with stomach cramps.

You know, its great having the help, but its just frustrating cos everyone feeds your baby different, Alessandro vomited last night, which is normal. but he never does, my MIL was feeding him and during the night feeds she sits talking to the baby while feeding and I can do my nut!! Cos it just keeps them awake, so we had 3 babies that didn't sleep right through, it was Athena and ALexia, athena eventually slept, alexia was awake comlaining the whole time inbetween shift. Alessandro vomited cos of the way he wa being fed, its funny how you get to know even how your babies eat! I just sometimes scared of saying stuff about how and what they do cos I juts feel like such a nag. MIL wants to organise a nurse 5 times a week, yeah its great, but when will DH and I actually start to feel like a famiyl amnd when will "WE" get to enjoy our babies, then she wants to organise thos food people who make and deliver, great, big help, but i must think and let her know otherwise why is she doing all of this work and wasting her time?? I didn't ask her to do it and I dont freaking have time to sit and think of things like that, anyway.

Shjoe Yvette sure are thinking of you, can't give you advice - My LO was never like that.
My poor little sisters baby of about 4months now was also like that if not worse.
Her LO only wanted to drink for 10min and then sleep for 10min - still struggling with the sleeping part, but it gets better. Her little one also cried the roof off when she wanted to put her down - i only know that it does get better but it takes time (as from what i've seen). She gets lucky if her baby sleeps 1.5hours just once during the week. Shame she stuggled getting pregnant and now struggling with a little stubburn baba. I used to think it was because they let her sleep with them in bed, but that was just for my sis to get some sleep in between while BF baby and to let baby think she is still in mommies arms i guess. Well now baba is sleeping in her own room since Dec.

Hope some of our ladies will have advice for you.

I only remember putting mine down on the bed and he would lie there till he falls asleep as soon as i start vacuming the house or put the tv on or something. He was a calm baby. Never had issues with me even when feeding - i used to give him bottle (expressing) during the day and on me at night since week 2.
Very easy going, hope this 2nd one will also be like that - but i know that wont happen - can't be that lucky all the time.

Only one week left for me before i find out what kind of baby i'm having i'll be on here asking advice from you all real soon LOL.

Hallo ladies.

Hope the new mommies are doing ok & that the mommies to be (the few of us that are left) are still fine. How is still left? Lost a bit of track since I went on holiday in December.

Went to the dr yesterday & Marinus weighs 3.1 kg. So he’s also going to be a big baby like his brother. Everything else is fine with me & Marinus & the dr only want to see us in 2 weeks. Everything looks fine for a normal delivery except if Marinus grows to 4kg’s. Then my dr doesn’t want me to deliver normal. So hopefully he’s doesn’t grow so much in the next 2 & ½ weeks.

I’m reading all of your stories & then I think :O my gosh, all of these things still lies ahead for me & then most of you will be sorted. But luckily then I can come & knock on your door for help. When I look at the pictures of the little one’s I can’t wait to hold Marinus in my arms. Not long anymore, but this waiting is killing me.

Eduan has been so difficult the last few days. I think he knows that he’s time of being the only child is getting to an end.

Yvette, eish.. its tough.. sounds exactly like my son was. I really dont think you can spoil them with attention at that young a age, some babas are just higher maintenance. Maybe one of the other moms will have better advice?? I would love to know just incase my 2nd little guy goes the same route

I was on today but Vanya decided to wake up then i had to go get Arwen from creche.

Markye so sorry about your dad it was the same when we knew my hubby mom was sick.

Cant help with bottle feeding advice ladies,

Yvette i find some days Vanya likes to be on breast every hour almost and i feel the same i want to give up, they call me clover coz im the milk cow in the house, i think its the heat they also like to have a drink like we do, She also smiles all the time, she at least doesnt mind if i put her down for a little bit but loves it when you sit her on your lap and hold her in a sitting position, I find she holds her neck by herself longer as well like that.
She kicks herself up and down my chest as well. I have enough milk i dont even need to take anything, the leak like sprinklers when stimulated.

Meags are you staying in Miami now?

Vix it more spotting then bleeding at what stage did you ladies stop? Its been over 3 weeks for me now and i dont remember it been this long.

Lizelle, Carmen you ladies are almost there, then you will be talking with us about bottles and BF.

oh my soul. how high maintenance is emily??????? shucks, but she only wants to be in my arms - maybe because i breastfeed her so often she has decided that there is the spot she wants to be. if i put her down while she is awake, 9 times out of 10, she'll start shouting intil she is picked up. she loves to sit on my lap and face me too. she is smiling by the way ladies - very cute.

to the BF mommies - man, she has been feeding 1.5hrs-2.5hrs for the past few days, i can feel my milk is actually lessening. iam on eglonyl for 2 weeks already. is she having a growth spurt or is she finding comfort? she hates a dummy. seriously considering bottles now because i am knackered from carrying/holding/ feeding 24/7. ashley was NEVER NEVER like this. in fact i am not doing anything different with emily, but is demanding that i give her constant attention. i do not rock her sleep, but i try to put her down while she's sleepy. tonight, i put her down like that and she realised that she not in my arms and boy, did she start howling! cross angry shouts. so i put her back to the breast, she drank for a few minutes then i got it right. still patted her bum a little becasue she got irritated again. holy cow, but this child is a madam.

please, any advice for me?????????
