Hi gals

Hada nice morning today had a mani and pedi and a well deserved eyebrow wax (my friend is a therapist so she comes to my house on a wednesday when she is not working so yippeeee for me!!!!)

The whole pedigree went on a trip today hubby mommy lo and the boys WHAT A MISSION that's all I can say, my 7 seater was packed with all 3 kids in myself hubby and the pram there is no space for croceries it looked so funny I think some people really felt sorry for us today

Hubby was sitting with the twins whilst I was paying for some croceries and 3 men came up to him and saying there wifes are also expecting twins so I really think this year is the year for conceiving twins

Ster wow 2 more days then Inge will arrive  Are you going to breastfeed Inge?

Binks I am sure your Lg is gonna come earlier then the 3rd

Vix, Aiden is the screamer but only when he is hungry they even cry in there sleep both of them...Llewellyn would happily sleep and wait patiently for his feed and I am so lucky they burp so easily the both of them

Do you wake and feed both at the same time I must say this routine works really well for me otherwise I will be constantly feeding burping and changing nappies, Llewellyn is my little poeper and Aiden the burper

Mina glad all is fine with you and that all is going well

I wonder how Chris is doing

Chan are you stopping breast now?

Asp hope all is well with you

Lizelle enjoy your break soon the break will be over he he

ster - you can sms me anytime - no worries. my number is 0832718114. my bp is about the same as yours. i don;t 'feel' any different though compared to when i am not preg, as it is normally rather on the lower side, like 110/60. i think vix also has a slightly lower bp normally...? atleast you are all good for friday! lucky. i'll probable be the last to pop at this rate.\ about the 2010/2011 thing, if i went into labour now, then that is it. we will not try stop the labour to wait until 1st jan. craig is a pain sometimes. even my gynae said i should wait. glory, i'll be 39w4days if i have the c-section on the 5th jan...

my old nanny didn;t pitch monday or today. stupid cow. she;s very quick to ask for stuff and i am so soft that i give give give give all the time. then when i need her, she doesn;t give a crap. she'll never work in my house again. so, i actually cleaned the toilets this morning...

binks - where are you? hope nothing has happened....

Hi Ladies

Went to Dischem and my bp = 140/92. I feel a lot better as the sister there also told me that I shouldn't stress about the bp and as you said Yvette & Vix - if it was serious dr would have admitted me already. I was just a bit stressed out last night but today I am fine. Inge is moving and kicking and that is the most important thing for me now. I am taking it easy - DH told me not to do anything.

Yvette - we had the same conversation regarding waiting for 2011 at one stage especially because DH was born so late in December but I told him early on that I am not putting myself or Inge in danger just because we want a 2011 baby. DH said that is quite challenging especially when it comes to sport but at the end of the day if you LO wants to come there is nothing going to stop him/her from coming.

I still take my hat off to all the multiple Mommies - I am sure double the fun can be double the trouble too!!!!!

Chris - hope you are well and enjoying every moment of the
A-Team.

Yvette - can I maybe sms you on Friday with all the detail and then you can maybe update everybody here please? I have added you all on Baby City but just for incase?

vix - wrt the 2011 thing, it drives me up the pole too. BUT, cameran was born the 27th november and sure as shit there was (and still is) a major difference between his emotional intelligence and his class mates that were born ealier in the year. even physically. we tested himbefore he went Gr1 and he passed, but still, i have to admit there was a differnce. think, some of those kids were jan/feb babies and he was end november - that is almost a year difference and at the ages of 5/6/7/8/9, it makes a marked difference. he is doing excellent now though which is fine. he has 'grown' up and i think almost on par with his peers.
but mark my words, if i could have this baby next week, i would.
about your boys, isn;t it such a miracle that those tiny little people have their own distinct natures? thats incredible to me! hope little C is ok. he is a gorgeous child!

mina - i have had loads and loads of BH. in fact, i even woke up twice last night with really sore cramps - which has never happened before. i just turned over, waited for them to pass and i fell asleep again. hectic! i have had a natural birth with my son in 2000, and then the c-section last year with ashley. if i actually go into labour now on my own, i will try to keep quiet and monitor myself before rushing off to the hospital which is 50mins away, to be told its false labour and i 'NEED TO HAVE AN EMERGENCY C-SECTION"... so ya, watch this space. i am yearning to birth naturally again. if i managae to have natural, i won;t be having epidural as it is considered a contra-indication to VBAC. besides, i'm cooked in my head and i wanna feel the pain ;) holly ha :) please let me know all your signs and symptoms too. find me on fb YVETTE HOGGARTH

ster - how was your BP today chicken? let us know please!

chris - sooper mommy (again) how are you?

meags - hope your bum is ok;) shame cookie. craig has piles too and he acts like he is half dead / paraplegic. i laugh and rip him off constantly just for the fun of it. dork man. but he does not know that i have them too but they are not sore. gosh, i could never ever tell him that. especially not now because i will never hear the end of it.

Morning ladies,

Ster- your gynae would've looked for other signs of pre eclsampsia and if he found another indication I promise you he wouldn't have waited til friday. Just keep an eye out for swelling particulally of the face and hands, and pplaces that don't always swell with pregnancy. I'm sure your high BP is probably because your body is working overtime to keep Inge strong and healthy for friday. WRT the crying at the birth, I took a pack of tissues to both my births and not one tear was shed, before the op I was sure I was gonna cry bexause I am quite an emotional person but the tears never came. Just don't kick yourself if you don't shed a tear, you get so caught up in the moment and there is so much going on your emotions only truly come through after when suddenly you're back in your room.

Yvette- why is everyone so concerned with having babies in the begining of the year rather than the end? Does it really make that much difference to the schooling? So, I guess it would make you the youngest is your class but does that really create a disadvantage? I could never understand why people get so bothered by it.

I'm actually thinking now that me holding a meet at my house is sooooo not going to work, the tweenies are so demanding I won't see anyone, I think I may just leave it for a later ddate when the babies are bigger, double trouble is flippin hard work. Don't even think I will be able to go out to a meet anywhere because they feed every 3-4hrs and I just can't feed them on my own if they wake at the same time. I think my life is officially on hold for a very long time.

Chris- I hope you're recovering well and have been able to spend a lot of time with your babies! Can't wait to see how gorgeous they are!

Meags- sjoe, if I had to go to a specialist who told me to just eat more fibre I'd pull my pants down and wiggle my class A bunch of white grapes in his face and say "oh really" LOL I have terrible external piles that just haven't reacted to medication so I think they would have to be removed.

Mina- hi stranger, We even have some Nov babies, 4 in fact both sets of twins were dtermined to see Nov.

Having twins with 2 different personalities has taught me one thing, it's not the way you mother your babies that makes a colic or crampy baby, it's not what you eat particulally nor the way you lay them to sleep it's different for every baby. My 2 have completely different personalities and do everything differently from sleeping, to drinking even to the way they digest their food and the amount they poop even though they are both on breast milk. One will have cramps and the other will sleep like a log yet they both get the same milk. Craziness, I have a typical C in Jonathan, he's niggly, colicky, he wants to be held all the time and he screams beautifully, Alex on the other hand is almost nothing like C and J, he only cries when he's hungry which is invariably every 4hrs to the min, he eats, burps sleeps, no fuss really. Jonathan moans and groans in his sleep even. Well I suppose it could be a genetic thing because J is like C and they both look like DH and A is completely different and looks more like me and I'm pretty chilled and relaxed most of the time.
