chris - just replying about the BH from our thread...
your tummy should go tight and you feel a heavy pressure in your lower tummy.
it may be uncomfortable, but shouldnt be sore.

things that relieve the discomfort is a bath, changing position or walking around (if you were sitting for long).

BH are generally irregular, pain free and don't get progressively stronger.

if they get stronger, painful or you have them with backache/waters breaking/they become regular/4 in 1 hour/more intense, then rather go to labour ward for them to run a NST (non stress test) where they will put 2 probes on your tummy. 1 to monitor for contractions and 1 to monitor the babies heart beats. This will determine if you're having contractions or BH.

Sorry I've been quiet, I am just very down.

We saw Dr yesterday, and everything is perfect. Baba has turned down, and he says chances of breech are very low. So for now, we are still on track for natural. Seems baba doubled weight to 1,4kg - although he doesnt like to meaure and doesnt believe in all of that.

I see him again in 3 weeks before he goes on leave, he didnt want to wait 5 weeks until he is back mid-Dec, so he thinks I should go onto something to help the low feelings. I cant believe this happening though. I am trying to be positive, and its not that I am ungrateful or anything, I am just not as excited for this baba as I think I should be. He suggested I get the newborn baba clothes out and start washing, and get bags packed, even though its probably too early, but he says it will help me. He says the small age gap, together with hormones from stopping breastfeeding, etc etc all play a part. So I am going to try...

The dvd he has been using to save our pictures fro the last 4 visits also wont play on our laptop or tv, it felt like the end of the world last night. Poor DH just said its rally not the end of the world. We have lovely 4D pics, and we never even look at Sarah's pics anymore. But it felt like the end of the world last night...

DH is away next week... and that never helps either. When we met he tavelled eery week, but this year he has only been away for one international trip, and one local trip. I just hope he doesnt have to tavel too much in february - but no good worrying now.

I think being a SAHM also gives you too much time to think about things and worry about everything! I also wish I could help contribute to the monthly income, but its a decision we made and its amazing how much less you can survive on - not easy though and there are major sacrifices.

Sorry girls, I am really just making everyone down.

Lizelle - glad you are feeling better. The measurements are such an approximate thing. My Dr only did weight measurement at this visit and the last one.

Chris i'm feeling better thanks. I really don't think baby is to small anymore...for i can feel her kicking and moving much harder every day, feels to me she is growing quick. And believe me i'm always eating...sometimes i think i eat to much. I just have to add more calsium to my dieet everyday.
I was making some pancakes tonight (and ate 4 thick ones ) and i got very eina kicks from baba.

Yesterday i had a bad day, was heavy tired and my legs and feet took some strain. Was walking like a duck I said to hubby feels like im 38weeks, meanwhile i'm only 26½ lol...Well today i was feeling much better.

Was just feeling a bit down today as i always have to help organise my own babyshower, that way i know when it will be held. I so much would love a surprise for a change, but not my mom or sisters fault i guess, cause they have to know when i will be in Cape Town. And this mommy is always organizing when it will be and and and. I gave my sis a list who to invite, and she did it this morning, date will be 4 Dec @12:00.

With my LB i made my own invitations, send it out to family & friends (the ones in Cape Town) on behalf of my sister and mom. Everyone thought i didn't know LOL. My work also gave me babyshower and with that one i also found out on my own, they still don't know that i knew. And then my friends from here also held me one and that one i also knew of LOL. So i had 3 babyshowers with the first pregnancy

This time i'm only aware of the CT one from my family and friends.
I decided i won't bother trying to find out if the work or other friends are giving me one. Maybe i'll get a surprise this time

We don't have much to do still in the baby's room. Nothing really. The clothes are all packed in. Just have to put a shelve up in LB's room. Then all his story books can get out of the baby's room.
Just need more bedding for baba.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
I can't believe how the weeks go by so fast.
