Carmen, sorry about the tummy bug! Not nice, especially while being pregnant. Glad baba is doing good. Hope you get better soon.

Forgot to mention, I have only a little less than 2 months left till I start maternity leave on 01/01/2011. Decided to take off a month before Adriaan comes to get things sorted and spend some one on one time with my LG! But, with the good comes the bad! Unpaid, and I have to claim UIF. And I have claimed less than a year back. Oh, I smell trouble brewing.

Vix, I have my 4D (the "free" one you get for booking a bed) tomorrow at 12h30

Been having this crazy lower back pains last night after lying down. I actually, for a split second, though they felt like contractions. Really sore and very irritating. But I managed to fall asleep and this morning at 03h00 (my time to wake up) they were gone. My tummy is really hard and feels heavy and full today. Wonder what is happening inside? Wish I could see

How is everyone doing?

We finally started with Adriaan's room last night. Moved the bunk beds out to the storage room and now the room is empty. We are buying Adriaan's furniture on Sat (my mom and me) and lucklily my father is paying for that - otherwise we would have ended up sleeping on a bunk-bed it seems.

Was really hard work tying to move the stuff out with my LG wanting to play and moaning since she wasn't getting her hard earned attention. But we managed. Just kept thinking the whole time how much our lives have changed (improved) over a year.

Carmen I hope you feel better soon! Argh a tummy bug must suck. At least you and baby are fine.

Sterretjie we close on the 15th Dec so that'll be my last day! I agree with you on the babygrow's for the first weeks. They need to be comfortable!

Chris how you feeling? Hope you're resting alot now that you're working from home!

Vix it's my scan today! Going at 4:30pm and I'm also dying to see what little man weighs!! Can't wait - just want the day to fly past!!

Shame my DH gave me a wonderful back massage last night with our electric massager and I feel so much better today! It's amazing what a massage and sleep can do for a person!

Suriya- how was your appointment on saturday?

Chan- is it your appointment today? good luck! Can't wait to hear how nice and big Kade is!

Chan - sorry about the rib pain!

I'm at home - I have viral gastro - hit me Sunday night! Got a buscopan injection yesterday and had to take Rehydrat. Baby is fine! Funny with all the water loss - my swollen feet and legs look normal . Won't last long though. My fever broke last night, so feeling much better today. Back at work tomorrow.

Chan - my last day is the 10th of December and my ML starts the 13th. And you?

Vix, thanks for the info. Everybody tells me not to waste time with Newborn because they only last so long - but I would definitely then re-think my strategy.

I still believe that the first couple off weeks they should be wearing baby grows - they have their entire life to wear jeans and tight fitting tops and bling bling etc. I received a couple of 0-3mnths leggings but I am just thinking - their little bodies are not use to the elastic and then they still have the umbilical cord that must fall off - so I would rather have Inge in baby grows for a while. But then you do see all the gorgeous little suits and dresses etc.

Chan, she got the cutest little dresses for 12-18mnths - I can just imagine her in these dresses walking / running around.

Chris - glad you are working from home - I am sure the A-team is very heavy by now. I keep on thinking about you ladies with the twins and triplets - it is going to be hard work but the joy in seeing not one but two or three little faces is priceless
