Completley understand your going out issue - not easy at all - cant think how it must be with 3.

Bottle feeding - well today it's not working at all, but still trying.

Ahh wanted to reply to all now, but Kayden is awake now and i should start trying the bottle again while she is still calm.

Thanks Tiagosmom, i couldnt give a continental, but it is frustrating.

Corgansmom, youo can give panado, first time round I didnt and they werent too bad, but quite restless and a bit niggly, but the last 2 lots i did and it was better i must admit. well first time i gave panado and my babies just hate it, last time i gave nurofen in their bottle. Its more the liquid that stings than the actual needle, my babies dont cry with the first injection, but the second one they do only once the liquid goes in.

Ps - Its great that your LB is getting the synagis, im sorry we didnt do it as our med aid consultant would of pushed for it.

Chris - I completely agree with you I hate going out with one baby nevermind 3. Since T was born most of our friends have distanced themselves because apparently I dont make an effort to go out with them anymore - I really dont care to be quite honest, they're always welcome to come visit but they always want me to make the first move and say hey lets do this but they can do they same. So dont stress I think its normal to become a homebody and with 3 babies everyone should realise its not easy for you to just pick and and go for a quick visit. Hope Alessandro gets better soon.

I am so sorry for not participating C keeps me busy and usually when I do have time to come onto moomie, my husband is hogging the pc! But I do stay updated by reading the emails on my Blackberry! This site is just not very mobile friendly

Corgan is now 6 months old...his "corrected age" according to his doctor is about two and a half months...he can roll from his tummy to his back...still doesn't even try the other way around...he loves to "sit" and "stand" with my assistance...He has cereal for breakfast, fruit/veg for lunch and then cereal for supper, with milk in between of course...we have been working our way through all of the varieties, we started with butternut, then sweet potato, carrot, apple and now we're on banana which seems to be his least favourite (he is not a monkey after all!)

The reason I am finally posting now is: Tomorrow, Corgan is going for his "8 week" injection...his doctor said to wait until he weighs at least 3kg and he is a little over it now...I was wondering what advice you guys have regarding that, considering you've all been through it...

How did all of your babies react to the actual needle going in? Corgan has been getting a Synagis injection once a month since he was discharged, would it be similar do you think?

What was it like afterwards? I know all babies react differently, I just want to know what I could expect either way...

Did you give panado drops before hand? Been hearing this from a few moms and wondering if its really necessary? Wouldn't want to give it to him for nothing, not big on giving meds...?

How are you all doing? How is your lo's?

Thashreya and Shrevash are doing fine. We removed Shrevash hair on monday. Shame poor thing was not too happy about it. According to our culture we have to remove the first hair of a baby, its normally done within the first 40 days but then my granny past away, so we couldn't do it.

Shrevash is eating his porridge nicely and also drinks more now, which I am happy about. I am really battling to get nice winter baby grows for Shrevash. Its either comes with the hood or it is really thick.

Chris- Sorry to hear that Allessandro has an infection. Hopefully he will get better soon. I do understand what you talking about. Its difficult enough travelling or going out with a baby and toddler, so I can imagine how difficult it must be with 3 babies.

Maryke - Glad to hear that the casts will be off soon.

Suhaila - Babies do dream, also it could just be something troubling him. Do you normally smoke your house with lubaan (spelling)?

Lizelle - Hope the bottle feeding is getting better.

Vix - Loved the new pics of the twins. Is it just my imagination or are the twins looking almost identical.

Suhaila, how was your trip? athena is quite different to the other 2, she is so cute, she makes the most sounds and talks at any given chance, she puts her lips together and blows (im sure unintentionally) but she seems to enjoy it and tries to do it often.

Maryke, well done on Llewellyn sleeping through! What did you do?? So glad to hear the casts will be off soon, and sooner than expected!

Lizelle, good on you for being persistent, I think its really about little Kayden getting use to the teet, she'll take to the bottle soon, you doing a great job so far!

Finally got the L&L magazine! nice to the the familiar faces, I also saw that they had a page on birth stories alrweady, so not sure they will be putting mine in, she said they were trying to finalize some things, so I have no idea.

Alessandro has ear infection, from the rsv so the girls might just get it, must just monitor them, he is so mommy vas, he only has eyes for me!! He started with temps the night before last so we took him to paed, it also looks like that white thing we spotted is not a tooth (it would of been out by now anyway) but some kind of cyst or somethgn from saliva, but I think its safe to say they are "gumming" but no teeth cutting through yet. He has this thign of waking up and laying in bed kicking around and talking, I must just add that this is when he is in bed with me. On Sunday we put them in their own cots, own room, it was heartsore, felt like a terribly mother and that I was letting go of a huge part of them, but it went well, I only got up once. But the 2 nights after that its a different story, tjats why Alessandro is in bed with us cos he complains the whole night and no ways Im going to get up all the time to go there. But I think tonight I must be persistent and make him sleep in his cot. Last night he woke up twice, eventually I put him sleeping on his tummy and he slept right through. So I think I must put him to bed on his tummy, Im just a bit nervous about it, even though he has monitor, well I think dh is more nervous than me, but not sure how safe it is after they have eaten?

These babies have been a problem on their bottle so after discussing with paed, we started them on their porridge last night, it was cute, Alexia's ot so sure what to do with it in her mouth, Alessandro wasnt so bad but Athena was quite a champ, lol, she was blowing with her lips closed so some of the porridge would splatter over my face, but she would also sort of suck it off the spoon. Only think now is we need to see what works best for them with quantities of milk to top up after the porridge as they didnt finish but drank milk, they actually complained to drink milk, probably thirsty. But from them sleeping from about 8/9 to 5h30/6, this morning alexia woke at 3h30 and drank 90mls, Athena didnt wake up, I gave her bottle at 6h30 andshe only had 95mls, with Alessandro being awake I thought maybe he wanted milk but he only had 15mls, after a cuddle and on his tummy he was lights out til 7. And I must add that Alexia had the most of her top up (we had to give her more) after the porridge, so not too sure how much to give them. Alessandro also not eating properly now cos of being sick.

Suhaila, I do think babies dream, but of what, I havent the slightest idea. On Sunday night when were giving them their last feed, he was sleeping on my mil's chest and he let out a small laugh and was smiling, I turned and said to dh I wonder what babies dream of, and he said jokingly 'boobies' and at that point, Alessandro cracked out laughing, and he was chuckiling away with us, but like when someone continues laughing, man it was hillarious I had tears in my eyes from laughter, so bad or good, I think they do dream.

A little vent from me, I am so tired of people that keep saying to us we must get out, its about time you get out etc etc, you know that I would and will probably still come out I seriously wish they could have 3 babies and see if it easy to go out, especially feeding 3 hourly and when they put up such a huge performance to have their bottle, I mean where do you go? Every time we have gone out there has to be an entourage, and they have to follow us in their car! DH and I can do it, I know we can but everybody seem to think its simple, I mean if they can do it with 1 baby or 1 baby and toddler, why cant we?? We went to the paed alone yesterday and we managed, we have moved babies on to 4 hourly feeds so they are more hungry to feed and dont complain as much, so yes, it is easier now, but its still hard, if you know what I mean?

Just have to brag quick Llewellyn slept through from 6 to 6 this morning

and I think master Aiden is just thursty so tonight it's tea for him or just water still in two minds
