Maryke- When I read your post I laughed out loud!!! My goodness, I can only imagine what a scary thought that was, leaving a baby behind! I didnt realise you were a mommy of twins and little girl, well only until recently.... Thank goodness!!!!! Shows you how clever kids are and how protective she is of her brothers! Well I hear you on on the expense of changing teats. Avent I had to change at 3 months, and shew it was an expense. If I could suggest you buy some this month and some next month especially with so many! Are you a SAHM? I see babes go to creche?

sterretjie- on the bottle front- which I am trying not to think about, cos I want to kill someone when I think of it---- Well I agree, J is 6 months old that equated to over 7 or 8 bottles daily for that long, we should bloody know how to put them together, I really don't believe the over tightening thing for a minute. Its just passing the buck and its sad.

Suhaila- Happy 5 Months Aaqil ♥ And glad its all just teething symptoms. What else did Paed say? I must go weigh J, I'd like to know what he weighs now. I only go back to the Paed at 9 months, I hope!

Do any of your LO's have the congested nose at night, and maybe even sometimes in the day? Where you can hear it when they breathe. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the humidity etc. I use saline drops and vapour rub sometimes. I have notices that he even gets it in the day now. Is it something to worry about?

Other than that, J has been fine. Looking forward to some quality time with my two men the weekend. I have been exhausted this week. J likes to wake at 4am and I will admit that the last two days, I have brought him to our bed and he goes back to sleep. Odd hey?

Wishing all mom's a Happy Mother's Day, for me it's a first so I am excited...

Aaqil is A-ok:) symptoms are teething related:) he is now 6.98 kgs and 66 cm:)

TGIF!!!!!!!! hope you are all well?

Mandz - I have been using Dr Brown bottles and one of them also started leaking. I emailed them and got the same response back - don't tighten them too much. I have been using the bottles for 18 weeks - surely I should know by now how to tighten them? Any way I emailed back to say "don't worry, I will not be using Dr Brown bottles with my next baby" - still waiting for a reply. I love the Hello Peter website - if I'm buying something new I first check there if there are any complaints.

Maryke - please send "Klaas Vakie" to our house too. Seems that your one has the strong sand - the sand used at our house is not that strong as Hanna Montanna wakes at 01:00 for a feed (but then I must say at least she only wakes up now once a night - sleeps from 19:00 - 01:00 and then after a bottle sleeps till between 05:00-06:00). Thanks Frances-Jane for remembering your brother - shame man.

Chris - hope your litlle man is better?

Suhaila - when my mom visited us in January (Inge was about 4 weeks old) she couldn't understand why I wouldn't let her sleep on her tummy because "you and your brother only slept on your tummies". I explained to her about cot death but she was still not convinced. So she let Inge sleep on her tummy during the day. At 8 weeks we bought the Angelcare and I moved Inge into her own room and extended the tummy sleep more during the night. She prefers to sleep on her tummy and even at creche she sleeps on her tummy. Because of her silent reflux I feed up while she is sitting / laying up. then I have her against my shoulder for about 10 minutes and then I put her down. But yes, she goes to sleep on her tummy on a full stomach.

This morning at creche they were giving all the mommies gifts and muffins and juice - they really made it special.

Inge is still well. We are now giving her porridge in the morning and afternoon. She is just too tired when we get home from creche at 17:00 to eat and only wants to play a bit but then it is bath time and sleep. Will be giving her veggies for lunch from next week on. O yes, she is rolling from her tummy to her back - started over easter - forgot to mention. Other than that she loves her fingers and have discovered her feet too. She sometimes sits like a little Buddha - too cute

Lol Maryke, lucky for you Frances-Jane is so observant:) Nazr I'd something done by, as far as I know Hindi, Tamil, Telegu and Muslim (all races/nationalities) to remove the evil eye, jealousy etc from someone. It can be done in various ways. That's the best explanation I can give you. Suriya have I got it right?

Is your Dh in the construction industry Maryke? You mentioned a tender before. My Dh is the financial project manager for a construction company so tender deadlines are common in our home:)

On the NUK you have to change the teats to the no. 2 when they are 6m teats are bigger then the no. 1 so guess what I am doing the end of may and it's not like I have 6 bottles I counted the other day and I have 16 bottles

Suhaila I think Llewellyn is also teething also have those stinky watery pooh and he lookes very flushed and the hands are constantly in the mouth, but for your own peace of minde take him to the pead. What is nazr that your mom has to take out?

I don't want to jinx this but Llewellyn slept again from 6-6 but keeping fingers x but Mr. Aiden was awake every freaken 2-3hrs

Ladies ladies ladies ai ai ai I was rushing this morning getting everyone ready for school and blah blah blah so we in the car I was just about to start the car when little miss frances-jane squeeks from her seat, "mummy is Llewellyn not going to school today?" I looked back and I never put him in the car ran inside and he was happily sitting in his car chair checking out his hands I felt like a real idiot ( o the horrors just imagine if she said nothing and I rocked up at school with only Aiden.....can pudding brain still have an effect!?)

Well I must say we where at the beach basically everyday with them last week and it wasn't to bad, but then we went shopping with them WHAT A MISSION!!!! Frances-Jane was in one of her moods the nappy special that was on at Game only started the next day so had to beg and plead with the manager lucky he understood that going out with all the kids
