Hi Everyone!!!

We are still around! Yip, been MIA but no news is always good news. Will see how much I can remember and how time the little ones give me...

Nathan is growing like a boeing! He is smiling and laughing a lot lateyl, and wakes up happy! So nice. Better than Sarah who now wakes up and literally screams for the first hour or two! TODDLERS!!!

I see the gynae tomo for my 3 month check up - starting to kind of feel normal again after Mirena, at least spotting/bleeding has stopped - shjoe!!!

Started Sarah on Bach FLower Remedies this last week to try to help with jealousy! Just dont have the extra rands lying around to send her to creche, but if I win the lotto she'll be going to school! Never thought I would ever say that but its the truth. I think big thing is that she is bored. But funny enough, she plays beautifully by herself sometimes, so she is not so demanding for attention, but can throw a tantrum when she wants something!

Going to try to remember everything I can...

Meags - sounds like you had a good day/night a few days ago, hope things slowly get better! It does take time!

Chan - hope you are settling down in your new home. How is Kade doing - guess you are also very busy!

Yvette - Ash and Em doing well? I know all about BF and baba being most comfy in the arms - I am there too! Nathan is sleeping on my lap right now!

Suhaila - I am a SAHM - just take each day as it comes regarding going back to work - will try stay home for as long as possible! Aquila is a real looker!!!

Maryke - hope work is going well again. How is A & L? And FJ? Did u ever find your doggy? I laughed so at your reply about shopping (last) saturday! I tried putting Nathan in one trolley with Sarah and then pulling another along - but it was a disaster! But those trolleys with the baby seats are awkward! Almost HOLIDAY time!!!! Lucky fish!

Mandz - Jordyn is gorgeous! He is really doing well on food! Glad you are enjoying this thread!

Chris - been thinking of you lots! Hope the a team is getting better and stronger! Poor things! I assume you dont have to keep them apart anymore? Luckily the physio was coming to you! Strongs and love to you all!!!

Good luck to all th mommies preparing to get back into the work mood, good luck with the bottles (and dummies for some of us still). I do read all the posts but normally with at least one child in the arms (either Nathan or Sarah) and manage one hand tyoing on fb quite easily but get lazy to sit down for Moomie - sorry! Will try harder this week!

Binks, I dont think its a problem wrt Vanyas tummy, she is solely being breastfed as long as she has 6/7 wet or soiled nappies a day, 9in your case wet for now) and also that its not hard when she eventually does make a poo.

Ster, sorry about hospital being fill of crap, I HATE going to casualties at any given time, I just feel the dr's are so useless that are on duty, I think I have come across 1 good night dr. I agree that you shouldnt have to pay, especially thatthere was somethgn wrong with Inge.

Ster, I think it was you that asked where to get the nose Frida kit from, you can get it from Dischem, it comes in a clear blue box. Has really helped so much with trio been so sick.

AFU, trio is doing much better, all smiling again, they're still a bit blocked but Alessandro and Alexia are much better, Alexia's screech is back, she still a little blocked but loads better, its just athena now thats the worst of the lot (but still not too bad). They were suppose to go for their injections on tu=hursday but cant go unless they are much better, so maybe next week or the week after. It just daunted on me that they're 16weeks today, I lost count somewhere, lol. They are so cute, playing on their playmat, they are cooing and gurgling so much more now.

My brother and SIL had a baby boy on Friday (sex was a surprise), he is so cute, I'm so going to miss having a baby and i cant think like that because its just a bit impossible for us to have another, I mean, I would be freaking mad right!???! Aah man, but if I could, I would. I love being a mom. But must change my mind set about wanting to have another, flip, even I think Im nuts! LOL, but I think maybe when the babies are more active I might just change my mind.

Shrevash is doing well. He rolled from his back to his tummy twice on saturday. It was so cute.

Thashreya is not doing so well. She is still teething (her molars still need to come out), and has diarrhea because of it. She is also miserable all day long because it is so painful.

Mandz - i also have Avent bottles for Arwen whom is now 21m and eating the life out of the teats, also have the leaking problem and decided to say good bye to the lovely blanket on my bed from all the marks she has left on it with her messed up bottles. BUT my problem now is im going to work in 3 weeks and need to get Vanya to take a bottle. I have to piegion bottles and im liking those.

Yvette - Vanya the same, loves standing and if she cant boy there hell to pay, but instead of my shoulder she chews the life out of her hands to cute, and the laughing she doing i just want to eat her up. Im trying the piegion bottles now Arwen started with those coz it has a peristeltic nipple which is also more along the lines of a nipple and alot softer that the avent.

Suhaila i wish i could work for 2 hours a day would be heaven.

Sterr i cant believe that the Dr did that so half hearted. Maybe to suggest Union in Alberton or over Garden City way, You know Garden City has a dedicated Pead ward and if anything should happen always take kids there. Working on a Ambulance when i was in Jhb learnt all the nice hospitals. Besides they both a level one fercility.

AFU we doing well Vanya's tummy has only worked 2 since last Thursday is that normal at this stage, still only BF, Girls are getting big and to cleaver form some of their boots.

mandz - i play her songs from her little giraffe. it plays 4 tunes but are 'white noise' tunes. she likes that. she is breastfed and feels most comfortable in my arms - which is fine. she prefers to sitting upright looking around and trying to stand on my lap to attack my shoulder. odd child at all of its' 3 months of age:) she is hectic about routine. if i'm slight;y late with putting her down for rest or night sleep, i battle for 30mins atleast. ashley is only 20 months old now and goes down for any sleep 100%. i don;t know how i do it. i hate weekends. its so busy and i am always tired.

binks - try the tommee tippee bottles. i have got emmi on one bottle a day now so that she doesn;t forget what a bottle is. i have tried mam, avent and nuk with her but only takes TT. let me know if you coem right there. the shape is just like a boobie and the silicone is so soft in comparison to the other teats. put BM to start and then slowyl mix formula until she doesn;t notice the difference. i have on nanHA and she is fine.

its very late for me now so i better move off towards my bedroom... my sister staying here tonight which is so nice. we are going shopping tomorrow.

someone asked what occupations we all are.... i am medical rep for CT/MRI and Nuclear Medicine aswell as Cathlab. my territory is western and eastern cape and garden route. grrrrrr. not cool and not so fun anymore. freakin dreading going back on 3rd may like you cannot believe.

Hmm Mandz Aaqil will also be asleep and let out a scream-cry. He won't have a fever or be constipated (he is bf so poos all day long). I just assume he has had a fright because after comforting him he goes back to sleep. If jordyn were in pain/constipated he would continue to cry wouldn't he? I also put Aaqil back down in a different position. Read somewhere they may be sore in that position and can't change themselves. Another alternative is wind. Does he burp when you pick him up.

I'm a clinical psychologist. My practice is in an assessment and therapy centre along with a physio, speech, remedial and occupational therapist. I'm only working 2 hours a week atm. Will work minimally and mostly be with Aaqil:)
