Maryke - good luck for you guys today - will be thinking of you. thanks for the tip re christening. I am still debating on what to do when we are christening Inge on the 1st of May - have cake etc at home or somewhere. Congrats on the milestone x 2

To all the other stunning ladies - hope you are all well and your LO is as sweet as pie!!!

AFM - Inge is doing well. She slept thru last night She had a bottle at 18:00 and slept till 19:00 - was awake for about 30 minutes and took a couple of sips again and fell asleep and slept till 04:15 this morning. I woke up at 03:30 and thought maybe I did not hear her crying!!!!!!!!
During the day she now sleeps in her cot - I will put her down and within 10minutes she is asleep. I do tap her a bit (5min) and then I leave her to doze off but the 18:00 - 20:00 stretch she cries forever when I do the same so now I put her to sleep in my arms until she is fast asleep and then I can put her down. It is a huge improvement from where we were. Now that she is less on the arm I can feel my left shoulder is taking strain whenever I pick her up - ai, old age is creeping up on me.
I have also stopped with the Nestragel in her bottle. My friend suggest that we try it as Inge use to drink 80ml and then an hour or two later she is hungry again. My friend said if you eat thick soup you are full but within a bit you are hungry again. Since Monday Inge now drinks between 100 - 110ml and now drink between 3 - 3,5 hours
We are flying down to CT Friday evening - DH must do a site inspection Saturday and he suggested we join him. The only flight we could get was 21:00 Friday night but we will make the best of it. Hopefully Inge will love the plane!!!!!!!!! My parents cannot wait - my mom has already sorted out our rooms - Inge will sleep in her own room (my old room).

AFM Wian had a terrible allergic reaction. So big drama all weekend but yesterday the paed said he has to go onto chronic meds till he is a bit bigger and can handle the "triggers" better. (Thank heavens! I've been begging him for the last month to put him on an anti-histamine or something as it worked wonders with Mikayla) His other advice was to start feeding him asap, so today I think we'll start with veg!! How exciting! He did warn me that it can either work great or he might struggle with digesting the solids! I'm holding thumbs that this is going to sort out some of our drama. I must say after getting the meds twice yesterday he was all smiles again this morning and the rash and snot was considerably better its horrible seeing him suffer and there is absolutely nothing I can do for him! By the way since we don't use soap, washing powder, cream, anything with or around him, the dr thinks it might have been perfume?? (I never wear perfume cause my boss is very allergic, but my mom and sister was holding Wian all weekend and they wear perfume!)

Suhaila, I gave my lg from about 4 m she was ok with it nothing wrong with her today, the boys I will only start at about 5m cause they where prem, you can give Aqail rooibos tea if you want my boys don't like it they only want there milk (my boys do get a bid of porridge in there milk at night tho)

Maryke, I have Viburcol by Heel. 2 different pharmacist ladies have recommended it and a Sr from a baby clinic prescribed it for Sarah when she wasnt sleeping well and we were going to sleep training. Apparently u can give it from day one.

It says on box "for symptomatic treatment of: common infections and restlessness". I was told for travelling, during sickness and i cant remember what else. Main ingredient is chamonilla. Its homeopathic. Its a suppository.

The Heel throat spray is great, I use it for my irratating post nasal drip while Nathan was in NICU and with breastfeeding couldnt take much and was so scared i was getting sick and wouldnt be allowed into NICU.

There are a few good Heel products.

Maybe google Heel products, specifically "Viburcol".

gotta run... note to self... do not take both Sarah and Nathan for injections! Nathan hungry and Sarah clingy and getting jealous!

Aaqil will be 4 months on the 6th of April. Did you moomies start your little ones on rice cereal at 4, 5 or 6 months? All the guidelines seem to differ?!

Twinbee, when i'm also having a bad day/night my next day/night also normally ends up to be a much better day/night and LO only feeding every 4hours is such a treat.
