I am with those that want ML to start! TaNasha I hate to admit it, but I'm not doing the pregnancy thing well. I really want to, but I'm battling with everything. I don't want to sound ungrateful for my baby, but maybe my body is battling because I'm not in my twenties. I dunno

But I shall persevere, it would just be nice to be on ML and be able to lie down on my side and rest by back and coccyx.
They are striking near my office today (it's all over the news this morning) and I was hoping I wouldn't be able to get to work! But, sigh, here I am. I REALLY could have done with a day off. I wanted to take the 26, 28 and 29 April leave, but the owner of the company won't let me. He is going to be away and he won't let me be away at the same time as him - someone has to be here to run things.
Well I got started on my UIF forms. They aren't as bad at they look! I can't go back and check but someone responded here with a breakdown of all the forms and what you need etc and you did it very well - thanks!
Esmari my heart goes out to your SIL. I read her post and she is very calm. Flip! Two weeks is a loooooong time to wait for her next scan. (((((hugs to her)))))
LOL at not getting a pic from a Gov scan. I didn't get a pic from my private gynae scan yesterday!
My heart stopped when he spent a lot of time going over and over the baby's head and brain. I actually glanced at his face to see if I could see any change in expression there, but he looked calm. He just said that the head is measuring nearly 30 weeks (I'm 27 weeks) because the baby is lying breech and the head is closer to the scanner than the rest of his body.
I'm going to buy a Hypnobirthing book from Nefertiti.

So let's see how I can get my mind around pushing this big boy out...
I registered online with Baby and Company and Reggies yesterday so that I can do some online shopping, but I was very disappointed as to the variety in the range available. I'm also going to sign up with Pick n Pay online shopping so that I can do any necessary shopping from home after the baby is born. My mother doesn't drive anymore so I do all the shopping for her/us as well as for BF.
MsDee I spent a lot of time thinking about your DH's comments. Very inconsiderate of him, but
maybe he isn't coping with the thought of becoming a father? What I mean is that a lot of men have anxiety and fears about being a father and us women never give their fears etc a second thought. BF doesn't pull the punches when he says something and boy oh boy does he hurt me. Maybe your DH is worried about you giving birth? Some men are
really worried about their beloved wives going through the birth experience and also how they are going to be a support to you during the birth. I don't know, just my 2c worth. Hugs to you hun. I promise you I know how much words coming from your dear love can hurt. Hope you are feeling better today. Basically men just don't think before they say things... I get told that I am sooooo overweight and that BF doesn't like overweight ladies and that he won't be able to stay with me if I don't lose the baby weight. I also get angry at him - what my body is doing and going through right now is totally out of my control and for it to be held against me is not fair at all. I'm carrying his child!
Yep AHA - I love your new pic
Hi to everyone else! Mwah
