TaNasha some women use Veet, but I'm too scared of burning so I go for a wax every month. I have to admit that it has become more painful during pregnancy - but it's quick and the pain is fleeting. But I'm persevering now because I don't want to go all bushy and then be forced to shave or veet for the birth. Some Dr's are ok with bushy, but I'm not taking a chance on having a nurse or even BF shave me because I can't see what I'm doing!! Besides the more you wax the easier it is and the less hair there is to remove.

MsDee I know!!! That is why I'm kinda veering towards having an elective Csec. It's such a cop out I know, but I like the way things are down there and from what I've read a lot of women also experience painful sex for years afterwards. Like TaNasha, I'm also scared of a 3rd degree tear. A colleague of mine tore all the way to her anus and to this day she has trouble passing stools. Some women say they have gone back to normal afterwards, but I'm too scared to take a chance!
As I have reasoned to myself - I'd rather have stitches in my tummy and pain and trouble walking etc for awhile, than have problems and be all stretched and ugly down there for the rest of my life. A lot of women have to go for reconstructive surgery as well. Nah, especially as Dr says my baby is big. I always sneered at those ladies who thought they were too posh to push, but you know what, a csec is looking good to me right now!!!!!!!

TaNasha - your boobs are working hun! You will be just fine with BF. They do say that you can BF after a boob job - so there ya go!!!

I sat here earlier totally mesmerized by my jumping bump!!! I could see him bumping me and moving around. I tried to take a video to show BF, but the movements don't show up all that clearly on the video.
I'm lapping up my BF's attention to my bump and the baby. He isn't reading pregnancy mags or looking up stuff online and he won't come shopping with me, but just to have him phone me and ask me how the baby is doing is very special. Especially considering that for the first five months of my pregnancy he didn't even want to touch my bump and if he accidentally touched it he would draw his hand back as if it was burnt. Now he will stand next to me and lovingly rub my bump and feel the baby.

Also should i get waxed down there for labour?

I have only been waxed once or twice and the pain was just too much, and since then i have just sticked to veet or shaving, but thought of maybe having a wax at 39 weeks? ouchie! Will they shave you if you go there all wild and bushy? I would not like to have a nurse or someone go there with a cheap hospital razor!

And I am so terrified about having a 3rd degree tear or cut! And knowing my luck it will probably happen to me!

Wow! I went looking for trouble and man did i find it!!!

All i wanted to know was how long the "Vajayjay" takes to heal after natural birth. And i bumped into a forum that terrified me to my very soul. It seems everyone there is not happy about the way things look down there, even years after giving birth.

I am traumatised!

Why has no one ever told me? Why do women keep such things a secret? I just called my friend who gave birth about 2 years ago and to my horror she confirmed that things do look different down there! I'm shocked!!!

Tanasha, I remember leaking with my son from about 6 months. I think I have read somewhere that you can still bf after a boobjob. Or I saw it on tv or something.

My boobs are leaking! Colostrum?

Does this mean I will be able to BF? I had a boobjob a few years ago and i was worried that i might not be able to BF, so is this leaking a good sign?
