MsDee, that was such a sweet post yesterday about how your husband bonds with your baby - made me cry. And you're right, everyone is different, my husband is so focus on getting the house right and our finances right and I know thats his way of preparing for the baby. Thanks for reminding me.

Esmari, I'm also going to have my husband give me a haircut, I tried last week because I was sure I'd still be able to do it, but there's no way to see around the bump. I'll just keep it neat and hope they don't shave it. I'm a sissie and don't think I'll be able to do the brazilian wax.

AFM: Cannot breath today - I thought I was going to pass out during my scan because I had to lie on my back and can breath even less then.

The scan was good - Keagan was sleeping and nothing we did could wake him, but he did move his lips and was sleeping in a really cute position with his one foot next to his face. I think he's going to look so much like his dad and I hope he has his beautiful curly hair as well.

I am so glad i am not the only one with concerns about the after effects of either birth options. As much as i love & i'm grateful for the joy of giving life, i do love feeling attractive as a woman

Solo, i've also tried to keep up with the waxing but yes it is more painful now, not to mention just plain awkward.
Hubby suggested using his hair clippers to help me out! MEN!

& i will so miss watching my baby jump around in my tummy. Wish i could bottle this feeling.

AHA? I'm also now doing the every 2 weeks appt, really thinking of only going every third week. But should something go wrong i guess i'd feel guilty for not doing the regular 2 week appts.

Eeeww AHA imagine being shaved with a horrid cheap razor and baby powder. Yikes. I'm squirming right now at the thought. Eina - imagine the razor burn.
I keep my vitamins in the kitchen, so when I have my breakfast I see the box of vitamins and am reminded to take them. Look after yourself, an iron deficiency isn't pleasant.

I signed up with a UIF agency and got my pile of forms to complete. Phew, I nearly fainted. Surprised they don't want DNA testing as well....

Thanks for all the support re my back. I'm still going for physio, lets hope this isn't going to continue all the way through till the end of my pregnancy.

Eeek, all this talk about waxing. Never been. I shave once or twice a week. Now off course dh has to, cause I am just to uncomfortable. Cant see her anymore. Hehe.

Solo, we laid in the bath the other night, and my tummy was not just jumping, but moving around. Dh had a great laugh!

Dont know anything about tearing, cause I had emergency section with both mine. But I would gladly take the tearing if I can push this one out. I have had 2 sections, and I long for natural.

I bought 2 shades blue wool yesterday. Knitting a blankie for baby. Enjoying it lots!
A bit sad today, dh bil grandad died last nigt. Got sick suddenly.

Just a quick note to say: I'm going for my 4D scan this morning!!! I can't wait to see my baby.

Rakker – LOL! I know about those funny stuff you get at babyshowers. I received ‘tiny baby’ clothes as well – my LG was 3.85kg when she was born… and I still have 5 towels in their packets from her baby shower, cause that seem to have been the thing to buy.
Congratulations on your 14 year anniversary! So true about doing stuff alone as a couple.

TaNasha – so cool about the baby shower!
Jip they will shave you for a c-sec if you are bushy. I think for natural it depends on the hospital. And it will be a cheap hospital razor with baby powder. Btw I’m waaay scared of a wax, never had one – think I will rather give birth! LOL!

Solo – glad the physio is working for you. I got such a faint linea nigra with my first pregnancy, and I also really wanted one. only right at the end I saw that I did have this faint line. No sign of one yet.
Don’t feel bad about the nursery. With first LG we had a nursery – and hardly used it. LG was sleeping next to our bed in her cot for the first 18 months of her life. So this time round we are not doing a nursery, will just move baby in with her sister when she is old enough. Don’t want to give up my sparebedroom at this stage.
Can I just say – I’m sooooo happy you BF is starting to enjoy the pregnancy! Really happy for you!

MsDee – have you tried putting a pillow under your tummy when you sleep? Helps me a lot.

Karienh – my DH didn’t seem that interested in the beginning either, but now he seems more interesting. I suppose with my belly getting bigger – it’s getting a bit more real for him too.

AFM – I’m going to the doc every 2 weeks now. time flies! Really can’t believe we are almost starting having babies. Baby is just over 2kg’s now – looks like she will also be big. My iron levels are a bit low – but still normal, so that may be the cause for my dizzy spells, so I must make a point to take my vites. I did forget at times. Have to go do some work…

I had a normal birth with kaitlyn and yes, I felt very sorry for my poor vajayjay for a while afterwards, and while even now I know it will never be the same again, some things are definitely better... if you know what I mean

I had a tear inside, and I'm not even sure if they could stitch it, and I could feel it for a very long time after the birth, but it's much better now. it's only since I'm pregnant that I feel it now and again.

And I had a hollywood/ brazilian wax the week before my due date... couldn't handle the thought of them shaving me, even though my gynae said it was "totally unnecessary". I'm definitely going to do it again, thanks

I have a sharp constant shooting pain up in my vajayjay. I had it when I was pregnant with Kaitlyn but only much later on and also not as often. I've had this sharp pain since last night. I know Nicole is lying very low and her head is on my bladder so that could be the reason, but I think I should phone my gynae's receptionist in the morning. I'm scared it's the beginning of bladder infection or something.

Also going for a facial at 9 am tomorrow we have to be out of our house on monday/ tuesday so I have a busy weekend. DH is out of town, lucky me, but my mom is coming to help out
