Sorry for being mia so long, but we sorting out a lot of crap this side. I just dont have the energy to think. And there is so much to catch up on! Aijaijai.

Aha, with my son I had my shower the saturday, and he was born the monday morning. With my lg I didnt get one. Apparently they did organise one, but I went into labor preterm, and ended up with nothing. Dont know about when this time, I do know they are organising something for me and sil (we prefer one together - have same friends and family.)

anyway, gotta run again. So much to do today, so little time.

Ertjie they say that MS can return during the third trimester. Shame hun.

I've upped my fibre intake!!! Too scared to get piles. Sounds absolutely horrendous. Now I "poot" like a trooper And I'm a lady!! Ladies just don't "poot"!!!!!!!

Karienh you know what freaks me out - it's the fact that the underside of my boobs now touch my bump when I'm not wearing a bra. I can't stand that feeling of the skin on skin. It's driving me crazy. I look in the mirror and I want my nice perky boobs back. Not these huge, vein covered things! LOL what can I do hey

AFM - I saw my GP on Saturday morning because of my backache. He has booked me off on bed rest for a week and I have to go for physio. I'm at work today My boss and owner of the company has absolutely NO sympathy and empathy. He believes that pain and illness are all in the mind. I daren't take time off because it creates such a bad vibe and atmosphere that it's not worth it. He wants his "pound of flesh" and time off for any reason at all is just not acceptable. I took two days off for my amnio and I'm scared to take more sick leave. What a difficult situation to be in.

I was wrong about my baby shower!! Oh well!! It is a bit early!

regarding the baby shower. My sister told me over the weekend that mine is on the 7th May. So I will be huge and uncomfortable. and probably no energy to get what i still need. I don't want to sound ungrateful, think I'm just grumpy cause I want to get everything ready already.

AFM - still going strong. Starting to get really big now tummy wise, but my bum is not far behind - supppose it helps with balance.

Thanks Karienh, it was a scan and well i dont know now we shall see. What do you mean by three lines where do you see that. I know, over time you realise you are blessed to have a healthy child whose life until they move on after 2 or so decades will revolve around mom.

I am so excited for you guys having baby showers. I have never had a baby shower but i also know that i shall never have one as this baby is the last. I am knew in Cape Town so no friens or family to talk of, when i was having my 2nd baby i was still knew in Malawi having marrie a Malawian and dint really have much friends and had left my family and friends back home in Zimbabwe. My daughter was born in Zimbabwe i was still a college student so you can imagine the imposibility of a shower then. When i look back i realise that my children are true SADC kids.

Niknaks and Meags, this pile-talk is scaring me. I always thought of piles as something slightly uncomfortable and mostly embarrassing - but this sounds really painful. I so hope I don't get any.

AFM: I took a good look at my boobs last night and I think they now look like some from a national geographic. Seriously, it looks like I should hang some beads around them and do a dance around a fire. Can't believe that hormones can make thm change so much. DH thinks its funny, but doesn't disagree... I just home they'll go back to normal afterwards.
I've reached that stage where time just seems to slow down. 2 weeks ago I couldn't believe that I had only 12 weeks to go and now I can't believe that I still have 10 weeks to go. I guess pregnancy proofs the relativity of time.

Hi ladies- finally week end!

Got Matthew's best friends party today, he is so excited! Otherwise it will be a quiet one for me.

Niknaks - you could be right about the babyshower this weekend. My sister asked me to go to her house after church on sunday to collect some of my nieces old clothes... It was a bit odd, that she made an appointment for me to go. Anyhow - if there is no shower, at least I get a visit and some of my nieces clothes!
No, I don't think it is a bad thing to know about your shower. At my sisters shower we thought she may go into labour with the shock. It was her 4 th child and her first baby shower. Bad on my part I know.
Anyhow most people end up knowing. I gave a shower for a friend, and was most disappointed when she phoned and said her mother and some told her.. She on the other hand was pleased because she wanted to tell people what she needed or wanted for baby.
Goodluck with the packing- not nice moving while pregnant. I did it in first pregnancy. This pregnancy we were wanting to build, but
council and the home owners association have taken for ever to approve the plans, so it looks like we will only build after baby arrives. In the meanwhile I am changing the study into baby's nursery.
On the haemorroids - so not nice to get, hopefully they are not too painful. I don't have any, but I understand it is quite common in
pregnancy, but that the only go away after baby is born. Hopefully for you they shrink earlier and you get some relief!

Thamu- did the gynae show you the " 3 lines" which show baby girls
veejay? Sorry you are disappointed, but when you see baby your heart will melt I am sure.
I have heard Constantiaburg is a great hospital. Why not do a maternity ward tour?

MsDee- it is a pain waiting for your surpriser baby shower, especially as I am now ready to go shopping. Yesterday I was in the shop had some baby stuff in hand, was waiting in line to pay and then decided rather to put the goods back.
I think it's fine to tell people what not to buy, especially if they ask. Those who don't ask will just get what they want to anyhow. I know some moms are very fussy about shat clothing and bath products they use on babies soft skin.

Hi to all you other preggie ladies. Esmari- thinking of you, hope you are coping with the move, with your ankle, and that it is not too stressful.


Oh DH and i went back to the new Game store last night, it was still a crazy place to be, but the savings are great. Wewere going to get a new fridge, but when we got there DH was unsure about the measurements. I was slightly peeved, but now he has measured and this am we will be going there again. I'm sure that it being a Saturday, the shop will be even more crazy.

Have still been suffering with the leg cramps at night. Nothing lad night, but the 2 or 3 nights prior, was quite bad.
