I could swear i could feel a kick this morning, but I was still half asleep, so I might have just been dreaming!

TaNasha the flutters will get harder and more distinct over the next week or two and then you will suddenly realise that the flutters have become kicks :) its such a wonderful feeling!!!

I've been thinking about education saving plans/policies. Can anyone offer any ideas or experience with them?

Thanks for the info re UIF AHA? . I'm thinking of using an agency as well. I don't need any unnecessary stress in my life so I thought that if an agency can handle all the yucky paperwork for me it would be a huge help!

TaNasha – glad the scan went well.

BettyF – nice that your doctor is at least supportive on the vbac thing. Must have been really nice seeing her mouth move like that.

Solo – the tummy is coming along nicely. 

The UIF thing – I’m going through a company, I used Moms UIF Assist last time round. And they were really great and helpful. Didn’t have to worry about my money (except that it’s so little), just the last payment was a bit delayed, but after one mail/sms (can’t remember) that was all sorted. So I’m going to use them again. They are R600, but if you register with the Medi clinic baby programme I think it is R450 or something like that.

I'm looking into UIF. Ladies it is scary...they only pay out 38% of your gross salary if you earn more than R12000 odd How are we supposed to survive on a percentage of our salary? I'm trying to decide whether to go through an agency or not. Anyone got any experience with UIF?

Betty_F you were up late last night!! How do you cope with such late nights? :) I have to admit that I need my beauty sleep and am "lights out" by 9pm after snoozing from 8pm
Nice that you had a good scan, LOL re your LG "talking"...
Sounds as if both you and your Dr re being realistic and optimistic about your VBAC. You will be in good hands to try for a VBAC by the sounds of it. 31 weeks - phew!! I don't know how I'm going to make it. I feel so uncomfortable now

I'm too scared to go for the interview... I think I have too much on the line to look for a new position now. I know now that I am under no obligation to disclose my pregnancy and that they are not allowed to discriminate, but they could find any reason to get rid of me and get away with it. Then I am stuck being pregnant and unemployed. Not a good place to be!!!

TaNasha don't worry about the weight gain. It will even out... Just relax and enjoy your pregnancy :) I've picked up about 10kgs so far and Dr isn't worried. I think I actually picked up even more though. Before, and just after I found out I was pregnant my appetite was HUGE. I ate everything in sight and couldn't stop eating, so I think I picked up 6 or 7 kgs before my first gynae appt at 7 weeks!! Shh...

My gynae charged R600-00 for a scan at my last appt. Now this scan was no different to the other 2 min scans that I have had at every visit!!!! I know that my medical aid only pays for two scans, and so Dr will charge for two scans, but I seriously thought that my scans that i would be charged for would be longer and more special. hmmm. My medical savings is nearly depleted and it's only the end of Feb. Sigh.

Karienh how is your packing and moving going? When are you moving.? It's so exciting!!!!

I snapped this pic yesterday - just to show my bump at 21 weeks.
