Betty_F, we currently live in Sedgefield, and dh works in knysna. But housing in knysna is extremely expenxive! So won't even bother trying to get a house there!

Uggg, why can't people just pick up a phone and use it? I am sitting here in my pj's, and now someone comes to look at the house without the owner letting us know??????? And my bed is not made cause I laid on it this afternoon, and my bathroom is a mess cause we just bathed the kids, and we haven't had time to clean the kitchen yet. I hate it when my house is a mess when someone comes over!

Solo- the UIF is a nightmare, to stand in the ques etc. I did that with first baby and spend about 3 days there with a new born. It was terrible, I ended up in tears there. Once I got to the front of the que to be told docs were incomplete or there was some or other problem.

So this time I think I will use an agency. I have been told that you still have to do all the paper work, but at least I won't have to spend 3 days there, stressed out with a screaming baby- it was so not nice.

Esmari- wonderful news on the house. George is such a wonderful place! DH and I stayed there for a weekend when we were dating. I remember we had a romantic dinner at this lovely restaurant called the real and rustic. Where are you staying now?

Rakker- wow imagine having baby in your arms in 5 weeks! are you prepared with the nursery etc. Does your gynae think baby may come early again this time?

Baby is so active kicking so much and hard kicks- tough little girl!

Rakker, my lb was born on time, but my lg was born at 35w, and was very sick. I think its best to just try to use condoms, to prevent sperm from going in. I must just give dh all I can in the next couple of weeks.

Oh yes, whoohoo for 30 weeks for me . If this one is also born at roughly 35 weeks, it means I have only 5 weeks left. Scary thought... I am in the process of packing the hospital bags because this time I don't want to as unprepared as I was with my LB's birth. My friend had to buy me a nighty and some granny panties. Luckily I already had the bag you buy from the hospital with few things for baby and the dreaded maternity pads. DH even had to go and buy a face cloth that they could use to clean LB and myself.

Sjoe Esmari, what a mouthful. (Wat die hart van vol is, ne ). So glad things are falling in place for you. About the abstenance... Eish, 28 weeks is very soon. My LB was born 34 weeks 6 days, so I am at risk for another preterm labour. But 28 weeks ! I don't think I will keep to that... Were both of your kids born early? How early?

Sorry that I have been so scarce, just had an exiting couple of days.

We will be moving at the end of March! We have been praying a lot over the past few years that we want to move to our neighboring town (George). We have not been happy where we are now. We have no friends over here, and I am really lonely. And all our friends and family lives in George.
So, over the weekend at my bil birthday (dh sister's husband), we heard that my other sil's mil's rental house is becoming available. (Ok, that's a mouthful, I know!) We didn't really think about it, but I joked at how we will be moving into the house. And then this week my sil told her mil that we are interested, and she said we could get the house for the same rent we are paying now. Witch is cheap seeing as the houses in George are more expensive, and it is a 4 bedroom house, with 2 bathrooms and a fireplace.
So, on Tuesday after my appointment dh had to drop plans off for the flat that is at the back of that house (my sil is moving in there, so we will be neighbors, having our babies together), and he asked her mil about the house.
And she said she wanted to put it in the market for R1000 more than she is getting now, but if we move in she will give it to us for the same price. So we told her we need to pray about it, and sort out a couple of things.
And then we started to make a list of all the positives and negatives. And the negative list has only one thing on it! - Dh would have to leave 30mins earlier in the mornings, and come home 30 mins later in the afternoon. And even with his lift club amount, it won't cost us more than it is costing us now, seeing as the house is around the corner from the school! I can walk my son to school. Oh, and we live in a holiday town at the moment, so everything is more expensive over here! We even pay R100 a month extra for electricity (the municipality says it's because of holidaymakers who only come here once a year! Blahblahblah!)

Anyway, so with EVERYTHING just falling into place this way, we believe that this is an answer to all our prayers! Jay

Ok, enough of that. I also heard it's better to open an 32 day hold account to save for the children. You must have a look at Nedbank, they have a plan that is quite good, but can't remember the name. You have a minimum amount you put in every month, but you can put in more. It's for 5y at a time, and the you can renew it.

Tanasha, I just love the kicks! Dh got kicked last night. He looked so chuffed. Off course I had to wake baba up by pressing on my tummy, but so worth it. Now I am trying to do the same for the kids, but I don't think they understand what they must feel for. Guess I should just wait a week or 2.

Wow, I only just realise that some of you are about ready to "pop". The over 30 week ladies. Hehe

BettyF, I will email you the photo tonight. It's not a perfect model, but hey, we are not perfect.

I don't know if I told you all. But the doc told us to abstain from about 28 weeks. I asked him about sperm, and it is true, it can induce labour. So they advise ladies with previous prem babas to not have sex after 28w. (Not even with a condom). Oh, and he will be putting me on meds from 30w to prevent me from going into early labor again.

That's all folks. The kids are bugging me to go play outside, and it's teribly hot, have to go get the sunscreen out.

Solo - the growth on an education policy is very dismal - someone told me the best option was to open a 30 day notice account and put the money you would have put into the policy each month into there rather - you earn interest and no commission or penalty fees etc. I hope this helps you. UIF - I am using Moms UIF Assist - but if you are going to use an agency they want a lot of additional documents and it could take you a good month to do so get going hun
