Esmari,my situation is the exact opposite of yours. My DH insists on using cloth nappies. When I got the idea to use them I did such a good job of convincing him of the benefits that even if I wanted to change my mind I probably couldn't change his.

BettieF, thanks for the advice, I'm def going to use disposables for the first bit until he fits into the one size fits all diapers. But maybe I have this really big baby that needs adult diapers right away

AFM: I homeloan has been provisionally approved - they just need to evaluate the property!!! I'm really excited about it, but that means this month is going to be crazy. I'll have to make a million curtians and we want to paint the whole house before we move in. And then we still have to move and unpack. But luckily this means the we and the cats should be settled in by the time the baby arrives.

Now I'm off to the hardware store to look at paint colours.

I am putting away all my change, xtra money, and money left at the end of every week. And that I am saving for the baby. Will use that if diapers are on sale. I know if I keep the slips I can exchange if needed. Will buy at baby boom, cause I get 5% back once baby is born.

I had a great laugh last night. Had a bath with my lg, and she got out so I could lay down. And then se said: 'Mommy, your tummy are getting a little big'! So I responded that its suppose to. So then she said: 'Babys jumps out of mommies tummy?' (Mamma, babas spring mos uit mammas se magies uit?) Hehe, just had to laugh!

My bump has suddenly grown. Up to yesterday morning I could still feel it about 3 fingers from my belly button. But this morning it is just by my belly button!

Solo- yay wonderfulness go team Blue! So pleased for you. Now u can relax and enjoy ur pregnancy.
Don't get too many size 1s. I think 3 or 4 packets is enough. Size 2 you can use for longer. The sizes also overlap. I think I used size 2 for a bout 2 months. And the size 3 I used for ever. M has just been potty trained. He was on the biggest size, had visions of purchasing adult nappies lol.

Karien- I too have bought nothing. I won't be able to go the cloth happy route as LO will need to go to daycare. I do have friends who went that route- I was successful. I think it was more of a financial decision. The others were not successful- spent so much money on the cloth nappies - they are nota cheap- and never used them. I have been told that it's easier if you start off with disposable ones and then change once you are used to baby? Good luck.

Had my scan yesterday 28weeks now! All well. Baby 1.2 kg. Can't believe I am in my 3 rd trimester now. Weight is up to 79. Oh well so depressing. Dr gave me pre admission booking form for the hospital to complete. All getting so exciting now.

Is anyone doing antenatal classes? Did them with 1 st baby not sure I will do it again. But I did enjoy them last time...

Congrats Solo! Boys ar also a lot of fun! Especialy when the start acting like boys! Hehe!

So Rakker, you say about 2 packs size 1? Want to start buying! I am not even gonna try cloth! Dh refuses!

KarienH, I am considering cloth diapers. But dh doesnt want to. I am at home, but we live by the sea, and I dont have a tumble dryer. Sometimes clothes takes 2 days to dry!

I have my next scan at 18 wks, 22 Feb! So far away! Maybe Ill go to my gp friday. Dont know. Or is 6w inbetween ok?
