Wow! The thread is so busy today.

Solo, i am so sorry about your cat. Please try and be strong, sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I hope talking about it on the forum helps, we're all wishing you well.

Re: the bras, my breasts have definitely filled up. I finally fill my 34B bras, i bought 2 36B's just in case. I don't think i would be able to wear a bra with no under-wire :( But sometimes i do feel like the wire is digging into my rib cage these days.

Philipajane. I'm so excited & a bit nervous to find out. I'm still enjoying fantasising about the possibility of either boy/girl. Hubby is just happy that he finally gets to be a dad. But then he thinks we're gonna have 5 kids! LOL!

Just a bit nervous though, I just want to hear the doctor say everything looks fine and all the organs are fine so i can relax and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy. Maybe i'll even stop eating so much. Think i've been eating more out of guilt than hunger, i don't think my appettite has really changed... But since i have a bad history with food, i have my whole family watching me a hawks!!! :S

I am so sorry about your kitty solo xx

i got fed up with my jeans not wanting to close, so i went all out and bought some maternity jeans and they are sooooo comfy! Dont think i can ever go back to normal jeans!

It is so exciting to read about all of you feeling movement, it still feels like such a long way for me to go!

Thanks Rakker - so you understand all about the bottle feeding and bodily elimination story with kittens :) Snood would have been 10 years old this May which is far too young to say goodbye.
Philipajane I rode for twenty odd years and when my last horse died at 21 it killed me as well. He was incredible! We did it all together: dressage, Showing and Eventing. I stopped riding when I retired him when he was 18. My tack is all still at the stables! I hoping my baby is going to be a horse and animal lover like Mommy!
Who is riding your horse now that you can't?
My emotions are also all over the place! I have cried more in the last 12 weeks than I have for years! Now I have to make myself go for time out if BF annoys me or upsets me. Time out normally works because I find its not such a big issue after all and if I didn't take time out I would have blown up and foughtt over a very small thing that doesn't matter in the big scheme of things! Not easy when emotions are sitting at the surface!

ClaireC - I'm going to go shopping this weekend! Thanks :)

Once again, pls excuse any and all typos. Using my phone is not fun!

Solo - I bought the yummy mummy maternity bra and it has been fantastic for my growing girls. You can also get the carriwell range for R 250 at baby city and most other maternity stores. not sure about anyone else but I have grown a full cup size already so this bra has been a comfort. I think that once you are showing, its going to be hard to deny that you are pregnant, keep strong about everything.

Rakker - hope the holiday was great! so jealous of your white christmas hee hee...

Hi everybody!

No, I wasn't abducted by aliens. I just didn't get to do anything on the internet while on holiday.

My white christmas in Europe was nice, but I sure did miss the soil in which my roots are settled so deeply. I missed the sun, the humidity, the thunderstorms and my people. I missed the way that we do things in SA. I missed having a lekker braai! I found myself bawling my eyes out listening to "Asimbonanga" by Johnny Clegg & Savuka on my way to work yesterday. It just felt so right being back where I belong.

I will post more on our holiday with a pic or 2 tomorrow. And I'm not doing any personals, except for this one:

Solo, I know your pain. I bottle fed 3 kittens from day 1 and grieved for months after the 1 died. the other 2 we still have and they are almost 6 years. Cry if you feel like it, because keeping it all inside is also not good. Just tell yourself that you gave a quality life to your cat child that it wouldn't have had.

AFM: Feeling a lot of movement these days. I feel absolutely huge and it's like all the organs are now pushed aside, lungs included, so I get out of breath easily. Going for my next scan on 17 Jan. That is 6.5 weeks after the previous one, so you can imagine how much I am looking forward to that.

Alexander (the Great) born 17 Feb 2009, now a little man:-)

Cherise born 20 April 2011, mommy's little angel.
