The bad thing about maternity jeans is that you don't get the nice ones in SA (well, I couldn't find any). You get jeans with a 5cm piece of elastic material and that is it. And those things aren't made to go over your bump and after a while they don't stay up. I went into 1 shop in the Netherlands and could chose between 4 different nice maternity jeans. Ones with the whole piece of material that goes all the way up. And it is adjustable with buttons, so you can wear it from rather early on. I am so glad I got 1. Wish I could get more, but this holiday made us seriously broke...

About the bras, I use the Carriwell maternity bras, but only the cheapy ones. They are about R130 or something. No underwire, but really comfy. I also usually wear only the underwire ones, but I find the wire annoying and it leaves a red mark. Before my first pregnancy I was 34B. Then I had to go all the way to 36D. Afterwards I never got back to 34B, so I wore 36C. This time, I'm 36DD! Of course hubby loves it .

Going for my 22 week antenatal scan at 13:00, hope to get some good pictures and then going to see gynea next week Friday for another scan - 2 scans in one week!

still feeling good no pregnancy symptoms at all, just the belly and boobies growing!! and swolen feet - the heat is just making it a little bit uncomfortable, luckily I got aircon in the office.

solo- the round ligament pain I also experienced a while back, seems to dissapear for now, don't know for how long, only uncomfortable when turning at night!

TaNasha - maternity jeans sound like a very good idea! I think I must try to find some for myself this weekend. My wardrobe was dwindled down to almost nothing! Very little fits me anymore!!! And I had just lost all my weight and gave all my fat clothes away! They would have come in very handy now!!!!

AFM - Round ligament pain is making my life miserable! Is it going to be constant throughout the entire pregnancy? I feel as if I have a huge melon suspended by ligaments inside me and everytime I move, cough, sneeze or even laugh it pulls and hurts!
And by the evenings the pain is so constant I don't want to move or even turn over in bed.

Hallo everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the holidays

Even though I have not had the time to write on the thread, I did come on every now and again to see what is going on.

I had the twins with me for a week and it was soooo awsum! I enjoyed every second of it, but then the day after they went home, we had a bit of a scare, as I started to bleed, so rushed to the Gynie, but he said everything looked fine, and it might just be that I "overdid" it with the twins. So he had me on bed rest for two days, and now all seems fine.

It's only been two weeks that I'm alone at home, and already I am starting to feel crazy!!! Do not think I will be able to sit around and do nothing all day. I miss my work, but luckily I went for an interview on Monday to be a nanny for another ladies 5mnth old baby girl, and she just phoned me and asked me to start on Wednesday, so I am very relieved!

I can not wait for Monday, will have my 20wk scan and hopefully find out the gender of baba I can feel alot of movement and baby keeps on stepping on my bladder, sending me to the bathroom 20 x a day!!!

Philipajane your set up sounds fantastic! Its so nice to have family riding as well. My family are not horsey and wouldn't even come and watch me compete - they saw me take a few tumbles when eventing and that was that! They were too scared for me to even watch!!!

Oh MsDee how I wish I was fitting into 36B. I'm now 38B and am going to have to buy 40Cs I think!! Eish!!!!!! I also feel that I need underwire for support, but am also feeling wire digging into my ribs. My girls have become monsters!!

Rakker your white christmas must have been incredible. I know all about the missing SA thing. I lived in Kenya for two years and I cried for Mrs Balls chutney and biltong and borewors!
