I got awesome jeans from Edgars (Due Date) that have an elastic top that sits under the bump which suits me just fine as I wear all my pants low.

Ah, you see, those one are the ones that fall off... I think it depends on your body shape or something, because they just don't work for me. I will deffinitely go and have a look at the Mr. Price ones.

Karienh I have discovered Tomato juice this week! I have everyone in the office going "eewwww!" And "Ja babelas baby!" To me its a nice savoury snack that doesn't leave me feeling uncomfortably full.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear the maternity jeans in SA are so awful. Hmmm, I shall have to get busy with my sewing machine!

Oooh TaNasha a romantic weekend in Rome! Wow! I'm green :) enjoy!!!!! Take loads of pics for us :)

Good to hear from you Ertjie1! Glad to hear all is going great with you.

Sunrise....how are you doing?

MsDee - that is how I feel as well - any sudden movement sets it off. I find myself wanting to walk around holding my belly. Now I know why preggie ladies always hold their bellies!! I thought it was a sunconscious protective thing! Lol I'm learning :) so "Hello Panado - you are going to be my bff!!!" Seriously though, I don't generally take pillls or painkillers, but I have been keeping Panado in my handbag recently - just in case my headaches get too bad to handle.

Another thing, I don't want to go all the back to get the genders. Please provide me with the gender of your LO if you have found out already. From now on I will keep up with it as it is posted.

Morning ladies.

Solo, a few days after my MS stopped, the ligament pain started. I could not stand anything rubbing against my stomach and i started hating my jeans! Sudden movents would make the pain even worse. I can't say it will totally go away but you start getting breaks in between. But ja, the first 2 weeks mine was constant. My GP told me it's fine to take Panado if it becomes too much and i used to walk for about 20 minutes daily on the treadmill, it really did help.

Rakker, you're right about those martenity jeans. I'm dreading them. Too bad i'm not a dress/skirt kinda person, otherwise i don't think i would buy them. They are so unflattering...

Hello Weeskind, glad the bleeding stopped. You're also very far in your pregnancy!

Welcome back Weeskind. Glad you had a great holiday.

Solo, so sorry about you kitty.

I'm also getting more and more uncomfortable - esp at night. And of course it doesn't help that I have to get up 4 or 5 times to go to the bathroom. I've found that sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees really helps. I also got a u-shaped pregnancy pillow from some one and its super comfortable to sit in and to lie in bed with, but I haven't actually slept with it because it just feels too big. Maybe I'll use it more when I'm a bit bigger.

The past two days I felt the baby move a lot - and it's every time I listen to Counting Crows. Although he's too small for music yet, it's clear to me that he is going to have really good taste in music ;)

I received the best present of the holidays from an old friend. She gave me a mexican bola (www.mexicanbola.co.za/) and I think it's the cutest thing ever. It's a little bell that you wear around your neck and is suppose to soothe the baby before and after birth. I don't think I would have bought it for myself, but I absolutely love it and wear it every day.

And I also discovered alcohol free Becks beer - it tastes like real beer and it feels like you're drinking even though you're not. It's also great if you don't want to drink something sweet.

Does anyone have any other ideas for not too sweet beverages?
