sorry to butt in!!
I got jeans from woolies with the large elastic band. it came up quite high in the early stages of pregnancy (all the way over the bump) now at 29 weeks it still sits above my belly button.
Just watch out as I see they have brought in their 'skinny jean' range (which i dont like) but their normal ones are nice and very comfy. not all woolies have them though so you need to shop around!

otherwise depending on your budget, kidz emporium has nice jeans and black pants. ranging from R300 and up.

oh and I really am not saying this to scare anyone...and I myself still drink Panado if I have a headache or something. But there was a study done in Europe about why their fertility rate is so low and they are looking into the possibility that lots of Panado during pregnancy 'might' make male babies have fertility problems later in life. So try take it sparingly just in case!

MsDee, please let me know if Edgars and Mr Price in East Gate have a good maternity section. I know the Edgars in Sandton City doesn't have one. Will see if their Mr Price has anything tonight.

I got maternity pants from WW - they also have the stretch band and are really comfy, though they do slip down, even though I have a butt. But if I wear the yummie mummie band over the pants' band it keeps them up well. I'll go visit Mr Price tonight to look at their clothes.

Rakker thanks for keeping us updated. My dating scan said my EDD is 26th May. Still don't know if it's a boy/girl..

Philipajane, me too!!! I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl!!! Hubby and i got so excited that we picked out names after our last scan already!

Looks like Edgars & Mr price are the places to go for martenity wear. Will go to East gate after work. These days i'm too lazy to go shopping on the weekend.
