Thanks Claire :)
Nope, his family and friends (bar one or two of his closest friends) are still totally oblivous to the fact that I'm pregnant!! We had a party on New Years and I went to lie down because I was feeling yucky and tired. When his pals asked where I was he said that I have been suffering from nausea for a while - a womens thing!!! Lol and no-one questioned me or looked at me funny when I surfaced at 11pm!!!! Wow, I would have thought the questions and fishing would have started! But no, nothing!!!!!

A question for all of you...I am really giving Pamela Anderson some competition and my bras no longer fit. So I'm wearing my yucky, very ugly and unsexy sports bras. I want to find some pretty and feminine bras to wear. Do I look for bigger sizes in normal bras or should I look at maternity bras?
Also - anyone else feeling uncomfortable at night? My little bump feels huge and I toss and turn grr. Can't sleep on my tummy anymore! Bf says he will cut a hole in the matress for my tummy :) . So I suppose I should start looking for one of those preggie pillows. I actually need to hit the shops for maternity clothes or those belly band thingies!!
If I feel uncomfortable now at 14 weeks, what is it going to feel like at full term!!! :)
How some women could go through their pregnancy totally unaware they are pregnant is beyond me! I had a friend who discovered she was pregnant at 22 weeks :)

Have a nice day everyone.

Karien - my hubby felt it at 20 weeks, and it gets stronger every week. my cats and doggies have also been kicked - they just look at my tummy :)

Solo - My sincerest condolences about your kitty :( my animals are a huge part of my life so i really understand - just do not bottle your emotions... does his son not know you are pregnant? or does the family still not know?

MsDee - they should be able to tell you the gender at the anomoly scan - the parts are developed fully now :) my movements felt like butterflies too - now they are kicks lol :)

I can't wait to feel baby move! I'm a bit early still, but I can hope!!

Let us know how your ds scan went Sunrise.

AFM I've been very busy at work doing two peoples jobs. Running back and forth and a lot of stress. I'm so glad it ends tomorrow when staff is back to full compliment after the holidays.

I'm very sad this week as I had to put my cat down. I had her since she was 10 days old and I bottle fed her etc. A very special bond was formed between us and we were inseperable. Anyway she had a chronic illness and her meds stopped working. The vet said there was nothing more they could do for her, and as she was in pain I had to say goodbye to her. I was hysterical and I still can't stop crying. I know its not good for the baby, but I hurt so much. Sigh.

Good Morning all

Wow, some of you are far along! One sleep then Im 12w! Jay! The beginning of my last week in first trimester!

I believe I felt my baby this morning! I have gas, and it was not that! It was like someone tickled me with a small finger on the inside. Was very low, def in the area where my bump is! (This is my first baby)

uggggg, seeing the clinic monday to get my greencard. They know I am seeing private doc, so dont have to go back again. Hope I get same gyni that did my d&c to do the csection.( I am still hoping for a vba2c- they say my chances are good in provincial) To those who dont know, I am going to George, great hospital. I have a friend that just started as an intern there. My bil knows a doc that works there, he also worked in private hospitals all over our province, and he says George hospital is way better!
