Hey mommies,

I know I've been scares for the past weeks but now I'll try to log-in once a week at least.

Well it looks like everyone is busy.

Eish! for now I can't catch up there's too many posts :-(

AFM: Twins are doing pretty well. They gonna be 12 weeks this weekend and they are growing so quick, I'm glad I finally mastered their sleeping routine, they are normally up around 01h00 am and again at 05h00 am. Oooh! and at least they doesn't cry too much, they only cry if they are hungry or if they wanna sleep.

They are trully a huge blessing to me, I really feel content.

Ladies please tell me what happened to Solo? I hope she's fine.

Love you all....!!!

Blessed with beautiful twins

Hi ladies - all well this side!
Sarah is such a good baby- going to start rice cereal today! Hope it's not too early. The day care advised it. They said she can't wait the 3 hour intervals for bottie anymore. Has any one else started? She will be 5 months in 2 weeks.

She sleeps well- generally from 7 pm till 3 am. Then feeds. Normally up again at 5 for the morning shift. I normally feed her to sleep, but once or 2 ce she has still been awake after her bf and then I just put her in her cot and she falls asleep herself.

A big day tomorrow. We are going to a brunch braai - national braai day-and then a kiddies party in the afternoon....

Tanasha - did u make a decision with work? I stopped working a full day after M was born- I work a 3/4 day till 3pm. But it's mainly to miss the traffic.

Karien, at this stage no method really... I have read parts of the book "The sleep sense program" by Dana Obleman, but I haven't really started to follow it 100%. I think in the end it's basically a controlled crying method.

Laurakim, Cherise has her bottle(s) at around 12 and 3. She goes to bed at around 7, so the first feed is also after a longer stretch. Cherise is good at falling asleep on her own when I first put her in her cot and at night as well, after some intervention from me (dummy, feed, swaddling at times). What gets me is that she wakes up regularly after the 3 o'clock session and then I feel I must let her cry a bit. It's almost like her body is wide awake, with arms and legs going wild. That is what wakes her, also the fact that her dummy falls out when she is such a busy body.

Alexander (the Great) born 17 Feb 2009, now a little man:-)

Cherise born 20 April 2011, mommy's little angel.

I am also trying to get Jack to fall asleep on his own - at the moment he does about 50% of the time but during the day Josephine pops him on her back and he falls asleep quickly.

I am not sure if too much info is a bad thing

Rakker - Jack is also adamant on the 2 night bottles and will go fairly long for the 1st one but wakes earlier than he should for the second on and downs it like he has never had liquids! So we just go with it - it makes night times a lot calmer.

TaNasha - I agree a half day job or even working from home would be ideal - you do need something else to focus on for a bit in the day ;)
