hi everyone
Rakker, that really is a beautiful gown! Hope the sleep is going better! I'm not sure how old he now is but did you know that most babies have a sleep regression at 4 months - apparently they have a mental growth spurt and can't sleep well with all the new things they have to process.
And it's true that you should never ever mention how your baby sleeps

K is doing well - growing well and learning everything he should learn. But his naps are getting worse and worse - I'm a bit desperate and don't know what to do anymore. I try not to stress about it and when I can't get him to sleep in 20 min, I just leave it till the next nap. Sometimes I'll spend 15 minutes putting him to sleep and then he'll sleep a whole 10 minutes. Sooo frustrating.
I'm still breastfeeding exclusively but heard this weekend that babies can start solids from 17 weeks. K is definitely not ready for that, but it got me thinking about how we're going to introduce solids. I've read up a bit and think we're going to do baby-led weaning - where you start with solid, not pureed, food and baby feeds himself. Have any of you done that?
Laurakim, glad Jack is such a happy boy some of the time. Good luck with the crying. I suck at dealing with crying - I always want to give him panado syrup after 5 minutes because it feels like hours. So I stand in front of the clock to keep it in perspective
