I wont/cant do the castor oil. Just the idea makes me want to gag! And really we have 7 more days to go so whats the point At least with the c-section I know the end date.

Your bump is small Phillipajane - I also didnt get very big this time round. I got a bump early on but then it never really went anywhere. I am glad though. I am SOOOO uncomfortable - anything bigger and I doubt I would be able to move.

Hi all! I have not disappeared, really. Just busy with baby and sleep and work (need money...)

To the next 2 mommies in line: Can't wait to see the pics! Enjoy the last days of "relaxation". And trust philipajane on the castor oil... There is also the danger of dehydration that is not good for either mom or baby.

About the car seats, I read that in general it is best at the back of the car (up to 12 years!) and backward facing up to 4 years if possible. Don't know if you even get seats for older than 1 year kids that face bakward.

Phillipajane I do agree - if I am having a c-section I dont want the contractions UNLESS they mean baby is arriving. So IF they are starting I dont want to stop them

LOL I also keep hoping my water breaks any minute but alas baby seems happy inside! I have honestly tried everything. Davids aunt is trying to get me to try castor oil - lol just not sure I am up to that

TaNasha - David wanted to do all of that yesterday but we never got round to it. All I am going to say is I am glad I will be in hospital when he has to figure out the car seat

Car seats must face backwards and be in the back seat. My car has a "de-activate" the passenger side airbag button, so not sure if I can still legally put the baby car seat facing rear in the passenger seat?

BF family gave me such a special baby shower yesterday. It was wonderful.

As far as I know you can put a car seat in the front of your car ONLY if your car does not have an airbag on the passenger side. Fortunately my car doesn't have one on the passenger side so I can drive with my car seat infront however my DH has airbags fitted on both sides so he keeps his car seat fitted at the back...
