I would get checked. it can be normal to see more discharge at this stage of the pregnancy BUT since you say it is tinged with blood, that is usually a sign the cervix is either irritated or dilating.

I'm thinking today would be a good day to have a quick, pain-free birth!

At this point, any sign i get i'm getting my butt to the hospital, even if it's false labour at least it will give me something to do! I'm so booooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeed!!! Not to mention i'm so emotional; I keep crying, feeling overwhelmed, I'm snapping at everyone & i'm irritable!

Ugh, Laurakim, sorry about the BH! If i had them i think i would be very paranoid. My gynae tried to explain to me what signs to look out for yesterday, and he discribed what you're all describing (stomach feeling rock-hard)?

TaNasha, i agree with the other ladies, esp if there is blood. You can't afford to just ignore that. Rather make a big deal and find out it's nothing than not taking any action. So glad about your news on the cleft not being too bad.

Call your midwife. It can be nothing, like your cervix being irritated or something, or it coul be your mucus plug. Maybe get your cervix checked. If it is your mp, it could still be weeks. But rather get it checked, so tht if it is an indication of prem birth, they can deal with it.

I agree with solo taNasha, rather phone your midwife for further advisement...I had a bloody show last yr and that was just a few days before I gave birth to my son...they say usually it signals that you will be delivering soon (though in some cases it can happen weeks before the actual day) but with me I delivered soon afterwards...

I think it's way too soon in your case...

TaNasha phone your midwife and see what she says... You shouldn't be seeing blood unless its your mucous plug, but it's too early for that.

I have just been to the toilet, and i had some clear CM with a little bit of red blood, is this normal?

Baby is kicking so Im not worried, but Im not sure what this is, and I dont really want to google CM tinged with blood at work!
