Hallo ladies... seems like it really is freaking out friday today!

I do wish labor could come with a step by step manual which is the same for every woman, every time!

Yesterday it felt as if Leani just wants to fall out. My hips felt so sore as if they do not know how to keep my body up. After a hot bath it seemed as if she dropped, could fit 4 fingers between tummy and breasts, but this morning it was only 2 fingers. Then I woke up during the night with period type of pains... not cramps, more like a continuous pain in my lower abdomen and back.

I have been monitoring it during the day, and i'm getting slight contractions but they are very irregular. Other than that I am feeling very emotional and just want to cry over nothing at all. Also have some flue-like symptoms... sore muscles, head ache and sum nausea. Hope it is NOT flue.

So it is 11more days for me, but sum how i have a feeling she might make her appearance a bit sooner!

Do you think it is necessary to mark the stuff in the hospital bags? Like babies clothes or towel etc?

There was another question I wanted to ask, but can't remember now.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend :)

Hi there ladies!

Again I haven't been on here in a while - been posting as I get time!

Did I miss any births after BettyF gave birth?

I see your all discussing panicking about the birth and baby coming - I think it's completely natural as I've also been having these panic attacks lol. And then I feel sooo guilty because I've struggled to fall pregnant and went through fertility treatments and now I'm panicking about becoming a mommy. I've had a VERY easy pregnancy and I feel really blessed to have had it so easy and now I find myself complaining about my back is sore and I'm getting HUGE and uncomfortable - and I keep thinking "sis you ungrateful woman. You've prayed for this for so long so stop whining"! Then I'm ok and then the panic comes back ;-)

It looks like I'm back to being an August mommy but I'm still going to hang around here if you girls don't mind. My c-sec is scheduled for 02 August (that's at 38.5 weeks), however I have this funny feeling that my little man is going to be here before that and....I'm panicking again!!!

Other than that - I am still looking forward to meeting him and I keep wondering what he will look like! We have our 4D scan tomorrow as well which I'm excited about!

Other than that, been hectic at work but at least only 8 weeks of work left :)

Who is next in line with regards to the due date?

Hi girls...

Hope you all well? How is the cramp in your pubic bone laurakim - still painful?

Don't worry, I guess panicking and anxiety is all part of the waiting period...God has been good to us, my DH got a new job - will be starting the 15th June so it means he doesn't have to work weekends and terrible l8 shifts anymore..i couldn't stop crying when he told me the good news! Then again, now we have another problem - the medical aid!! He does have this benefit with the new company but my hospital bed and everything is booked already with his current m/aid...and we on a 200% plan which is gr8 as we haven't had to pay any part costs or anything...so for now, we've decided to stay on the current m/aid and then pay the FULL portion..once the baby comes we will swicth over...now wot i'm about worried tho as my sister told me we need to enquire if the current medical will charge us penalties for cancelling....aargh

And then i worry about coping with a ONE year old and a NEWBABY...I really have been struggling to sleep at night coz i'm so anxious...we training our 1st born now already to sleep in his own cot (coz his been spoilt by sleeping btw us at night) and the next step is to move his cot from our room to his nursery...their's no way him and new baby can sleep together in our room...she's going to wake him up at night...now I feel so bad coz its winter and its not fair that we "evicting" him from our room...aargh :(

And my last fear...my mom has said she can't look after baby 1 and 2 when I go back to work...i understand fully as its going to be a lot on her plate AND with my sister due in Nov she has really mentioned that my mom looked after my baby so it's only fair that she looks after her's...and I know my mom won't be able to cope with THREE babies..so now we need to start looking into alternatives when that time comes...i'm really sad as their is nothing more reassuring than knowing your mom is watching your kids during the day...I don't wan't to put them into a creche - i'm so paranoid!

So ya, those are my fears...alot to digest and for me to think through...

Hope everyone has a good day...

Esmari - I totally understand what you are saying!

At the moment I go from wanting baby out to not wanting him out in equal amounts!

Solo - I have a lady who sits in the shop for me - we decided to do it like that since I started it so late in my pregnancy. I battle to sit/stand for too long!

I am in my "head in the sand" mode today :( Life just feels way to over whelming!
