Rakker, wish I lived over there so I could go for a photo shoot with Joli. Dh will just have to do his best with the photos.
Oh, and about the csection thing, I am with you on that. But not all doctors are like that though.
MsDee, you must rest girl. Soon your baba will be here, then you are not gonna get a lot of rest! But its all worth it.

Tanasha, saw some photos of your holiday. Can you see how green I am????? Love your nursery. Hope you can get things sorted with your employer. Can’t you just go to company doctor and tell him exactly what your midwife said to you, and why she wants you to take it easy. Is there some law that’s says your work schedule can change once baby is there?
Karienh. Glad you are cleared for natural. Fx all goes well. Wonder why he wants you to look at the movement. Maybe something about the water? Also love the room. My son has a carpet just like that!

AFM. I am feeling very emotional today. Burst into tears when dh came home tonight. Think Laura passed her panic attack onto me! I feel so overwhelmed! I don’t have a duvet set for this baby, and can’t find one in a shop over here. And on internet it is so expensive. Found some at a price that’s ok, but now I don’t have money immediately, and I’m scared of ordering and then losing my money, or the stuff only getting here after baby is born. And my pram’s one wheel has a puncture, and we cant find the hole! Ag, and sommer a lot of other stupid stuff! Wondering how I will cope, ect.

Been feeling offish today. Have this pressure feeling in my lady bits (I know its normal). And it worries me. And now that I have reached 30w I am worrying about prem birth. Don’t want that again.

Anyway, enough about me. - Wow, and what an sa!!!!

Cant offer much advise then - I thought those countries were rather progressive in terms of dealing with new moms?

Laurakim I live in the Netherlands and here everything is done by the midwives, you only see a gynea if you have serious complications. I am not so upset about the working less untill my ML starts, but more about my working hours when I return. No way will I work 5 days a week with a baby! Everyone says that they can't refuse this, but I am so scared that they might let me go if I fight it. And I won't be able to find a good paying job like this at my age easily!

I dont think they can fire you TaNasha!

Find out who the company dr is - a gynae should also be able to give you the letter though. Legally if a dr books you off and you have the sick leave/normal leave available they can not refuse you.

Doesn't your mid wife work with a gynae that she could maybe explain why she wants you to take it easy?

So my boss now wants a letter from the midwife, the midwife says they dont do that and it needs to go through our companty dr who I have never heard of. I feel like crying! My boss also told me that my request to work 4 days instead of 5 in January after my maternity leave has been refused. She said that I have a full time position and there are no other positions available. I really want to work 3 or 4 days. And I thought I have a right to do this after having a baby? But I am so scared they will fire me if I fight it! What shoudl I do?
