Hi all! Sorry for being scarce. All of a sudden I need to plan plan plan. I have to plan the detail of the whole "have granny look after LB" thing. I need to book into the hospital at 5:00 tomorrow morning for the induction. At least gynae says all the signs are there that it would be a quick labour. Now I just need to believe her... 2 cm dilated, cervix thin, head nice and low in pelvis and amniotic fluit even less than last time. LG measures at 3.5kg, which is still fine according to my standards.

I would love to do personals, but I haven't even informed my DH of the latest on LG (and need to arrange so much before the end of the day). He is so busy at work that I don't even ask him to go to the gynae with me, but I'm 100% with that. He was at every visit with our LB, so been there, saw that.

I will keep you updated, not necessarily during labour, but afterwards.

OK, 1 personal: Betty_F, not long now, dear.

Alexander (the Great) born 17 Feb 2009, now a little man:-)

Weeskind, glad you're feeling better. But that is really bad about the pedophile moving into your place. I agree with PhillipaJane, that phoning childline might give you the best advice.

Sunrise, good luck on finding a stroller - I'm shocked everytime I see the twin pram prices. Maybe you can find one second hand somewhere.

Solo, so glad that you'll be able to make some money and get a Mac :) Is BF going to give you any financial support?

BettyF, yay 4 days! I'm also still looking for a baby bag - and I don't know what type is most practical and it has to look nice, but in a way that DH can use with out feeling weird AND not too expensive.

Esmari, your poor brother, hopefully this is his 3rd and last accident.

I'm in a very weird place today - one of our best friends found out yesterday that his wife is cheating on him. And I can't stop thinking about him, feeling so sorry for him and the situation she's put him in. They have a 2 year old son, so he wants to do everything he can to make it work but his whole life changed in a moment. And I can't stop thinking how something like that changes everything in your life - it changes your past, because when he looks back, he'll see everything from the past year in a different light. And it changes the future, because it can never be undone.

My mind just keeps going over everything.

Weeskind you are really having a rough time of it. Shame hun. Gld to hear you are feeling better, but not so glad to hear about your long weekend. Your SIL sounds as if she needs some lessons on how to be nice to people. I don't blame you for dreading the visit. Phew. And the pedophile! I can't believe it!!!! That is just WRONG. Wow. I agree, you have to find some way of warning the others in the complex. But how????? Phew. Scary

Sunrise, I had a glimpse at the multiple prams and I agree, they are very expensive and not as nice as the singleton prams. Pegperego has such nice prams, but yep, they are extremely expensive.
I work on an Apple Mac, but my Mac and I have been crying for an upgrade for years now, and I've been battling along... But now I'm going to be getting a new one with a brand new OS and all the latest programs. My current Photoshop and other programs are soo old now. It's very exciting! The only thing is that I will have to work 8 hours a day to be able to bring my current salary in...and there is no way I will be able to do that. I'm still worried as I will need every spare cent.

BF and I are trying... he has sooo many issues that I want to scream. My immediate reaction is usually to reject and break up with someone as soon as they start their problems, but now I am finding myself being forced to work through problems as if we were married and can't get out of it. He is seeing a therapist to help him cope with all the stress, so I will give him credit for that. Most men run at the mention of therapy. We may even land up going for couple therapy, but at least he is trying. So I don't feel it's fair of me to run just yet. So I'm trying.... Aaaargh!!!

Hey mommies,

I hope all the momies are doing great in this cold weather.

Phillipane I really like Graco pram for singleton. With twins its difficult to get a nice decent pram . At the moment I'm crazy with Pereperego (sp) prams but its way tooo expensive its R9000 excl. car seats imagine that's too much for me. Still not sure which one to buy.

Solo mmmh....I like your boss my friend Apple Mac wow...I'm sure you'll manage to work from home.
I'm just glad that they gonna pay me during my ML, I will really need some cash.

Blessed with beautiful twins

Good Morning everyone!
1st time in 5days I'm feeling human again, so I will enjoy it while it lasts :)

Rakker how are you feeling??? The midwife doing our antenatal classes last night said some "self-induction" methods is the nipple stimulation, and a good idea is to get your DH to suck on them (???) which also might lead into doing the deed, which is also a very good method of self-induction?! My DH said there is no way, he is too scared he will get a mouth full of milk lol.

BettyF, hope this last few days goes by fast for you aswell.

Solo how is things going between you and BF now?

I read on the "baba en kleuter" fb page that Pick n Pay has a good deal on. If you do online shopping from them, and there is any huggies products on your shopping list, Huggies will cover the delivery cost, so that means it won't cost you anything more than going into the shop yourself. Actually you save petrol and bypass the whole shlep of being heavily pregnant and have to do grocery shopping yourself... a good idea just before payday. I would do that even though I am not the biggest huggie fan. Sure one bag of huggies will come in handy in an emergency :)

My week is hectic. Still busy packing and still have so much to do...and DH brother and his wife is coming to visit us the long weekend, from JHB while our one bedroom place is full of boxes and a bit deurmekaar :( Not looking forward, but DH is so exited, he hasn't seen his brother since last year september, so I could not really throw my toys out the cot? They stayed with us for two weeks in december 2009 and it was very bad! I don't get along with the wife. They did not pay for anything and lived like kings. When I got pregnant the 1st time last year she told me i'm a B... for getting pregnant before her, as she wants the 1st grand child (she already has a 6yr old son, that she signed off to her parents because DH brother said he does not want to raise another man's child???) And she was planning on staying on the pill for another 3yrs... did she really expect me to not fall pregnant in 3yrs? So 4days after my mc she phoned me and told me if I still wanted the 1st grand child me and DH should do it every night because she decided to leave the pill... I was heart broken about the mc and felt she was very insensitive saying stuff like that? But lets hope this visit will be problem free :)

Well this is already such a long post :O and i still have so much to say lol.

Phillippa, thanx for the chat on fb on Sunday. Still don't know what to do about the whole situation, but decided to wait till he really moved in before doing something... For those of you that does not know... We found out that the person moving into our current place is a well known UK pedophile! That is why the lady put our rent up so much, she wanted us out of the flat so that she can put her son in here. By law I am not allowed to mention his name to the other people in the complex, because in SA the criminals get all the protection. I'm still thinking of ways to warn the people without getting into trouble myself.

Enjoy your day everyone. I'm off to go and pack some more!
