Philipajane that Graco pram is really nice and a good buy! I bought a secndhand Graco and then I had to go and buy the Autobaby car seat base, but I'm very happy.

Interesting info re the nappy disposal bins! Thanks! at least someone has done the maths!!! I'm not paying R1-50 extra per nappy! PnP bags will do just fine for me as well!

AFM I have been stressing about ML and money. My boss just spoke to me and while he doesn't want to pay me for ML he is prepared to buy me a new Apple Mac laptop and all my design programs that I use, so that I can work from home and he will pay me for hours worked. So I am very pleased. I just hope I can manage to work enough time in to be able to earn some money to make ends meet. I won't be earning my full salary but I hope baby gives me at least four to five hours a day t earn some money for us. Or am I being unrealistic! Phew, hectic worrying about money.

Hypnobirthing is (from what I can see) about going into yourself and deep relaxation. I'm still reading... I'm basically just after a stress free and pain free birth because I'm such a baby! Ecstatic birth sounds good to me!

Betty_F I had a quick squiz at the info leaflet this morning and it seems the Carriwell gel pads are for warming or cooling to ease the discomfort of engorgement. They are specially shape blue gel pads that fit around your boob. Similar idea to the Carriwell feme gel pad. So I see that both you and Rakker are due this week. This is getting very exciting.

Back to Baby City. I wish I could shop at the one in PMB Philipajane. It's so difficult to find anything in mine, it's all just a mumble jumble of things chucked into empty cots and wire bins etc.

While on the subject of shopping, what are your thoughts on Nappy Disposal Bins? Which ones are better? I can't stand there and look at the features of each one while my back is screaming at me...
And also Baby Swings?

Ok, so as if smashing my dads bakkie, slicing his wrist open with the lid of a jam tin that fell out of the fridge, my brother got himself bit by a green tree snake yesterday. It fell off the roof or something.
Apparently they dont give antivenom in sa anymore, they just treat the symptoms. Seems like it only scraped him (their teeth is in the back), so not lots of venom. He felt dizzy, and his one arm and leg is affected. But doc said he will be ok.
But, yet again, although my mom has a ma, they refuse to help if she doesnt pay a uge ammount upfront.... By the way, its a medi clinic.
Still waiting on news this morning, doc not there for his rounds yet.

Laurakim- I also still need to get a baby bag. There are so many nice ones in the shops. Not sure which to get...or which is practical.

Solo- glad you made it to the shop, agreed that the isles are too small. Wait until you are in there with pram, now that is frustrating!
What are boob cooling pads?

Solo I have to agree about the baby city isles - they are too small even for a non-pregnant person!!!
