Ok, you ladies sound so organised. I dont have breastpads or pads or gelpads for the breast ect. Just unpacked baby stuff, and I got quite a number of newborn (5) and 0-3mnt (3) babygrows, and some other clothes. None newborn vests though, but a couple of newborn. And my sil just asked who other than fam and people from our congregation I want at my shower. Hehe, hope they do it before 35w, as that was when lg was born, without a shower. And my lb was born 2 days after my shower. Hehe.

My next app is on 5May, want to ask how big he thinks baba will be around due date. He is measuring 3 days ahead from the start, but I did ovulate 3 days early.

I am also very getting very anxious and stressed. I have so much to still buy, and so little money at the moment. I know God will provide, as always. I just wish my faith could get to the point where I believe.

Dont know if you remember our car troubles? It was something wit the throttle body and anti pollution fault. Well, would have cost R4000 to fix. So I told God wf cant afford it. And one day the car just refused to drive. Dh opened the bonnet, fimbled with the butterfly something on the throttle body. The car started, he drove to peugeot, put it on there pc, they reset the pc on car, and eversince our car is 'fixed'! NO MONEY USED! And I only thought about it yesterday, God provided!

I'm feeling blue today, and the weather is gray Think I should get back into bed and watch dvds.

Rakker how is your 'self-inducing' going? What have you tried? Can you use a breast pump for nipple stimulation? I hope this Monday turns out to be THE day!

BettyF, we're using cloth nappies. I hope it works out, but we've spend so much money on them that we don't have a choice - we have to use them now.

LauraKim, which nappies are you using?

Solo, congrats on the shopping - I also bought the boring stuff first. It's easier to buy that the nice stuff because you don't really have to think about it or make choices.

We did A LOT of shopping on Saturday and have almost everything we need. The most exciting things we bought was a forehead thermometer and a Shox speaker for the nursery. And with all the shopping we did, they only things we still need are a nappy bag and nursing bras.

Gee you all seem so organised! I'm still at the "overwhelmed at everything that I have to still buy" stagem
I went to BabyCity on Sat (in the pouring rain nogal). First rant...why don't they make the aisles wider? Between moms-to-be with huge bumps and moms with prams and dads with toddlers - there is no room to move in there!
Anyway...I did the boring necessary shop - you know - the maternity pads, linen savers, disposble panties, maternity underwear, boob cooling gel pads etc. I also bought sleep positioner for baby and vests. Very boring shop, but I couldn't shop anymore because my back was killing me and I needed to pee!
Oh the joys of shopping while heavily pregnant.

Hopefully next weekend I can do the fun shopping for baby.

Rakker so Wednesday is B day!!! Wow, you must be so excited. Let's hope baby decides to come before you have to be induced.

The hypnobirthing book is extremely interesting. There are exercises to do, but even just reading it before the birth changes your whole mindset regarding giving birth. Even if you have a csec.

We are pretty much good to go - just need to get a baby bag and then I can pack my hospital bag!!

Phillipajane, thank you for the lunkheads onVBAC's, it was great read! How did the pram shopping go? I went to order a cover for my old one yesterday.

I also got some other odds and ends. Just when I think I have everything I need I think of something else.
I eventually found a gel pad at baby city (in case I do get a natural - otherwise I may have wasted my money, can't imagine returning a gel pad to the shop albeit unused?)
Also got a sleep positioner mattress made from memory foam which I will use in the Moses basket.

Only a 4 day working week this week, wonderful and then a long Easter weekend, which is already very busy for us!

Now to get through Monday...
