Good Morning

So yes I agree with Skai, the colostum is so good for baby, and do not let them talk you into giving baby a bottle to sleep longer or so, only 5ml will do its job, milk comes in at about day 3/4.

So I am still all blocked up but feeling better, I could sleep better last night.
So I am nearly 30 weeks pregnant, and I do not know if I am to relaxed or what, but I have nothing yet for our LG
I have the big things, so do not have to spend much money on any of that, and I have some of Williams vest and stuff I can use
But otherwise I have nothing else
The reason I have nothing, is I was bargaining on a hand me down from my sister in-law, she sort of promised she will keep all her LG's clothes and if I have a LG she will give it to me.
Well they just moved to Tanzania last weekend, and we will not see them again for a year. So I doubt that that will come through

So I must start shopping, will have to whip out my list and check what I still need - I do not know if I will have a baby shower?? So DH said last night that he will organise me one if my mom or sister does not do it - hehe

Who have filed there SARS returns? I have. And I am waiting for a huge refund from DH returns, this is the first year that we paid or own medical aid and pension,.

Don't actually have time to chat properly now but just wanted to say to Laliek - your milk will probably only come in on day 4 - once you are home. Your colostrum is more than sufficient until then (liquid gold) so don't get intimidated by the midwives telling you your baby is not getting enough...I've heard horrible stories from some women about this happening! And if there really is a need for formula then they will have. You can also express if baby won't latch or something.... Just a though oh, and I think it's something like 1 teaspoon (5mls) colostum is all baby needs in a feed...that's how nutritious it is.

Hi - I have seen the tommee tippee steriliser at baby city - not sure if you have 1 in your area

Yes I do have tommy tippee - have two 260ml bottles. You do get bigger ones,I think it goes up to 340ml but then that is for 3-6 months. We decided not to buy more tham two for now as I don't know if C's even going to like the bottle and if we'll use it really. Babycity in Strubensvalley had the larger bottles I know! I got a Chicco electric sterilizer as a gift and also I have a snookums microwave steriliser. The tommy tippee bottles fit in the chicco steriliser you just have to put teets at the bottom and bottles in second rack then it's fine!

Not sure where you can get tommy tippe steriliser. If I were you,just buy a steriliser that most bottles will fit in because if your girls for some reason don't like the tommy bottles you can at least buy other bottles without javing to buy a new steriliser! I think the tt steriliser will only fit tt bottles

Re- formula, my gynae said not to bring anything as the hospital will provide should there be a need. and thereafter the paed will reccomend something before we go home according the baby's needs. Sorry thats all the advise I can give.

Lalie,you are using tommee tippee right ? my boss bought me the 125ml & 260 ml bottles,now sat I was walking around looking for a tt sterelizer couldnt find one but there is one apparently. where did you get yours and did you find bigger size bottles as well ? (bigger than 260 ml) i didnt come across any or will 260 suffice ?

Almost forgot - tomorrow I have my 2nd last scan before Cameron arrives!!! I can't believe how close the time is now! I'll update you girls after the scan!
