Hello Ladies....

Wow I can not believe I have not been here in so so long! I don't even remember how a computer works haha

Well I am going to try my best to catch up and do some personals while I have a chance. I am so sad cause today is the last day that my mom is here to help me with Kylie she has to start work again tomorrow but I am so grateful for all the help that she gave me. Shoe I did not realize how difficult it was to raise a baby ....(and keep her alive ) I really have had such a hard time and I am sure my situation is not the norm. I really do stress about the tiniest little things and I am petrified that something will happen and we have to go back to hospital. I am even to scared to leave the house with Kylie! My mom forced us out the other day just to go to the shops and say hello to daddy at work and wow it was so nice but nerve wrecking!!

Claire I am so sorry you have also had a rough time it really is not nice at all!

Tanz I agree I was also against top up feed but I promise you they make the world of diff and you will still be giving him boob just some top ups. I have been expressing mostly for Kylie and I give her one bottle of formula a day. We are using the Novolac A.R. it is not as thick as the nan one and at least we can get it through the teet.

Hi Elrike Christi Deja and Skitter hope you are all keeping well. thanks for the updates i read it on my phone but that's as far as I get.

Ladies what did you end up doing for "precaution" my doc prescribed the "mini pill" but I am PETRIFIED of falling pregnant again. Kylie has been so hard that I don't think I will ever want kids again ever! Never mind falling pregnant so soon after her. Don't get me wrong I am super in love with her I just can't see myself doing this ever again.

Wow Chanz you give me hope....hearing that the first 8 weeks was hard for you too. Kylie is on the Novalac A.R. and also vomited out the whole lot last night. Is that normal? I was in such a frantic panic when she got sick. Thought I did something wrong when I made the bottle like boil the kettle too many times or something!

Ok gotta run again before K wakes up.

Claire- your pics are so cute. Indigo is getting big. sorry you having such a hard time. But like you say it will pass. I remember Michaels first 8 weeks was the hardest for me. I am loving the age he is at now.

Skitterling- Wow potty trained so quick. Thats awesome. How did you teach her? Well done mommy.

Deja- Sion is getting so big and so cute.

My FIL is doing much better. got discharged on Tuesday. Turns out his chronic meds were too much (basically overdose). But then again he never went for his check ups. LOL men.
My dad is doing much better. His speech and right side needs constant exercise but his speech is already improving which is great. Shame its given him a huge scare to the point of sending him into tears. I think he really fears death especially coz his life has gotten to its peak (with my mom coming back and with Michael in his life), think he is scared of missing out. Tough when you get old I guess.

Michael is really so cute now. He thinks my face is hilarious. I have been getting worried about M's formula. Our Dischem hasn't had stock since I cleared the shelf and they dont know when they getting stock and Nestle refuses to sell to me directly. I would try novalac but no stock of that either. My only other option is infacare which I dont really like. So yesterday I bought normal Nan and added a little rice cereal and so far he hasn't puked it out. Paed also suggested maizena but I have not heard of this so not sure how much to add. Michael goes for his 16 weeks vacs on Monday and then he starts rice cereal. Paed and midwife discussed his development and agreed he is advanced and that he is ready for it. Kinda sad coz he is growing up quick LOL
Right now we waiting patiently to see if nr 2 is on his/her way Really holding thumbs

Tanz, how is the feeding now? Keeping your sis in our thoughts. These little ones go through a lot of growth spurts, so I would not be too concerned just yet.

Christi does not sound like the reflux is too bad....good luck, he is growing so nicely!

AFU we are doing very well, Micheala is potty trained and it only took 4 days, so proud of her. Liam is just absolutely amazing. Im really enjoying them so so much.

It has been so long since I posted! Sorry! I really am the laziest person on earth!

Chanz - I really hope your FIL will recover! Renal failure is not a good sign. Strongs!

Tanz - I am so sorry about your little nephew! How is your sister doing? Is little R picking up weight now? With your one boob that you don't use, maybe offer it to him once he's eaten a little already, then he won't suck so hard but at least it will stimulate the milk a bit. Also, don't be too afraid of top-up feeds. A friend of mine gives top-ups at night and has been breastfeeding for 5 months now with no issues. If it'll help him to grow and be happy then rather give it.

Lindy and Deja - I love the pics! Deja you look fantastic!

Ok, quick update from me. Indigo is 7 weeks now. Went to get weighed and vaccines last week. She is 5.3 kgs now...which is very good considering how sick she is. We will see the paed next week. She is still coughing but not as badly as before. My son has it very bad. He wakes up coughing in the night and the coughing makes him vomit. So awful. He gets so upset. Indigo has very bad colic. She only sleeps for a few minutes at a time. So I am really exhausted but I know this will pass soon. Taking her to the chiro is really helping. She has also been smiling so nicely. I really love her so much.

This week has been a super difficult one. My dad was discharged yesterday. But my father inlaw got admitted this week aswell with renal failure. So I really hope they can help him.

Christi - hy het 3.2kg geweeg met geboorte. Ek het hom vandag gebel om te se ek het hom geweeg gister en hy het 4.2kg geweeg... My probleem nou is, al van geboorte af het ek net een bors wat werk... Hy vat erg punishment en selfs met al die nipple cream in die wereld wil ek skreeu elke keer as hy drink. Ek PM nou my nr dan verduidelik ek beter...
