Hello Ladies
Sorry for being so quiet. Been a busy couple of days
How is everyone doing?
Joey- congrats on the toothie. Babies are so cute with those toothy smiles. Glad your appointment went so well at the paed. So sorry to hear about the break in. Glad no one was home. But I am sure you must be scared, awful that people invade our space like that. With the constipation, I give M oats which helps soften the pooh and keep him regular. And I agree with Lizel, a probiotic is great for their tummies. I use the reuterina which they say is quite good.
Deja- if you weigh 60 now and you were 52 then I would just say it's your milk factory
Gosh I also am trying to lose some weight, well ALOT LOL. Deja, I have been reading that herbal life shakes are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Hubby and I are looking for something safe to shed weight, so if I fall preg while on it then it won't affect baby negatively. And I came across the herbal life and enquired about it.
Lindy- Kylie is getting sooooo cute man. Such a pretty little girl you have there.
Skitterling- I will say it again, Liam is a gorgeous little boy. So much character. I am glad he is loving his food. I have been meaning to try avo with M, everytime I want to the avo's are off LOL.
Bule- wow those booties are gorgeous. Wish I was in ct. I have a mom & baby group here in Richards Bay, so will show them the link. I would definitely like to order though. Do you have non-slip ones yet?
AFU- Michael is growing so well. Took him to the storks nest for his weigh in. He now weighs 8.9kg. Apparently he gained a bit too much in the last month

so I need to keep an eye on him LOL. And once again I have had to change his formula. I noticed since putting him on NAN 2 that his reflux has gotten worse where on the NAN 1 he improved after 12 weeks. The midwife suggested Similac Total Comfort which is a bit gentler on the tummy. So far I am seeing a big difference. Shame about 2 weeks ago he had a terrible rash on his bum which blistered. Gosh didn't know what to use. Bennets, bepanthem and sudocrem just wouldn't work. He was having a bit of a runny tummy but very acidic. Took him to the paed who said it was teething as I thought. He said to help that the pooh isn't so acidic, I can give an anti-acid. I found that the Lasinoh 3-in-1 nappy cream and the palmers bottom butter works wonders and also the probiotic nappy rash spray.
Michael is getting so cute now. I laughed, we were at my dads doctor rooms today and the receptionist told the other lady that Michael was growling at her

couldn't help but giggle. M has this new habit of making noises as if he is pushing the biggest load LOL and now he makes "ai jai jai" noises in between too

He is so close to crawling. Keeping the camera ready
Is there any other way of keeping your baby warm besides the sleeping sack? M constantly kicks the blankets off during the night and it's so cold lately. Woolies has such lovely bodysuits except they have hoodies and I don't think its safe to let him sleep with a hoodie.
I have ventured into my own small business from home = making homemade baby food for moms. I made a batch of baby biltong which M loves (no salt or spices). I kinda miss the hospitality industry at times, and this way I get to raise my boy and still do something for myself.
Well I hope you all have a lekker day tomorrow
