AFU we are doing well, L had his first veggies yesterday afternoon, so he now gets a teeny tiny bit of cereal in morning, veg in afternoon and a bit of cereal at night. Milk still being his biggest source of nutrition. We started with pumpkin, will have that for four to six days then peas, then carrots, then broccoli and so it will go...at 7m will start with fruit and at 8 with meats......but he loves the veggies so far. Doing really well, such a darling. sitting by himself and slowly but surely wriggling himself to where he wants to be

Summer is here too, so we will be at the beach a lot and he just loves playing in the sand

Morning Ladies!!

Well I am OVER THE MOON!! Kylie rolled over for the first time this morning. She wanted to roll over about two weeks ago but hubby got a fright and stopped her silly billy anyway she did it now.

She is doing so so well I am a very happy mommy (she is moaning now) so this will be a very quick update.

Chanz, jammer oor M. Hoop hy word gou gesond. Ek het gelukkig nie regtig probleme met beide my families nie.

Skitter - Suster het gese ek kan met solids begin, maar ek is noig nie heeltemal oortuig dis die regte ding nie! Edrich slaap baie goed en hy drink soms my leeg, maar die lasste paar dae is dir weer elke 3 ure. So ek dink hy is nog ok. E weeg, 6.8kg en is 67cm lank, regte bulletjie... 3-6 maande hempies is te klein... Suster het opgetel dat Edrich nie regtig op sy regterbeen wil trap nie. Sy se ek hoef nie nou daaroor te stres nie, ek moet maar sy beentjies oefen hierdie maand. Ek hom laat probeer staan.

Joey - L was on one porridge once per day for a week, then went to two (afternoon and eve) and still after almost a month only two meals only porridge. Will start veggies in a week or two. YAY on you making your own food! But he will guide you

Chanz Hope M gets well soon. Glad he is out of hospital.
Glad he is eating so well.
Not sure if the amber necklace works or not but i'm not taking it off. I can see Riley's bottem teeth coming and he has nite had a bad night of a upset day so it could be the necklace. He is also not drinking a full bottle.

Skitterling Liam is super cute.

When do you start give them a second solid food. I have only been giving Riley Vegs at night. I'm worried i over feed him?
I made my own peas and Butternut on saturday.

Sorry for not doing more personals now - just quickly popping in as I need to go put my kiddies in bed for a nap and start cleaning.

AFU, doing well (my period came back as of yesterday ) but the kids are amazing and love each other to bits!

Hello Mommies

Sjoe our thread has been soooo quiet. Where is everyone?

How is everyone doing?

AFU- Michael was admitted to hospital at 1am on Monday morning. He started with flu on Saturday morning 1:30am and saw a gp on Saturday, got meds (antibiotics) because gp said he has an upper respiratory infection. By Sunday he hadn't improved and with every cough he would vomit because of the phlegm. And obviously struggle to breathe, shame. So when we went to bed, hubby and I couldnt sleep because everytime Michael coughed we would stress that he might not be able to breathe. So decided to take him to ER. Turned out it was pneumonia (quite bad). Felt so bad. Since Michael was born he has had very flat veins and they always struggle to get IV lines in. Have never heard Michael cry so much like this week We were in the paed ward for two days. worst time ever. We got discharged yesterday. Paed said it would take about 6 weeks for Michael to recover fully. So I nebulise him at home and give all the meds etc. Can't help but feel bad, not nice seeing him so sick.
