Lizel, I'm so very sorry about your friends baby. My thoughts are with them. Go try and get they Your Pregnancy from woolies, they also sell a magazine called Mamma's and Pappa's pretty good too. Also you should register for the woolworths little world allot of benefits from them. Maybe they can send a magazine to you if you subscribe online, I think it's called your parenting. Just Google it. Also if you are with Discovery you get 3 free I think. Lol for the tlc and your mil!

Hey Liz - my weekend was FAB thanks went for some pampering. Shame I'm sorry about your parents....it's not nice when people say nasty words to each other. Me and my hubby fight allot but we never ever curse each other. Lol when we first started dating we had a huge fight and he turned around and shouted that I must "F off" I really did and refused point blank to speak to him for 3 months (I had no intentions of ever taking him back after that) but thank God I did cause I could never ever imagine my life without him Lol needless to say he has never cursed me ever again.

OMG Kiara where have you been doll??? We have been so worried about you jong! You have to post some updated pics....now you have me worried here...at how many weeks did you find out that it was a girl? We were told last week we are having a girl and I've been buying pink o Oh!!


Hey Chanz, I also don't have a close relationship with my mom at all. It's sad but things just tend to go wrong and I can never trust her. Chanz I was thinking of the painting in stead of painting it onto the wall why don't you go to a party shop or something and rather have them paint the animals on polystyrene and stick that onto the walls that way you don't have to paint the room again at a later stage....just a suggestion.

AFM - feeling baby kick all the time now and loving it!! I don't have much news except I am literally counting the days to the baby expo!!! Can't wait for it, it is here in Durban from the 26th of August yay and after that I can start counting the days to go on maternity leave !!

Hope you ladies have a fab day! I'll be in the office today cause my car had to go in as the radiator fan has come loose and they are trying to fix it for me!

We are not going to build anymore, we are now buying a house but back in Pretoria area for now. Hubby changes his mind alot Atleast I will be able to be near my family and friends. I was really worried, if I went into early labour again who will look after Zelri.

Yes, we are very happy to finally know what to call baba...

You can't say "dit" it sounds terrible. And if you say he/she people always say, oh so you really want a boy/girl!!

Even more excited that ever now that we know we can call him boetie!

Hope you all had a good day yesterday? Last night we went to dinner with my parents for my birthday. Soooo tired today! It seems that a full nights sleep is becoming more of a luxury, one that I am unable to achieve every night!

But I still enjoy every minute of it!!!

Thanks Chanz! And thanks for the kind words. Sjoe, just when you think things get better, things get worse... awful. But yes, luckily we can learn from their mistakes. I don't want my child to grow up in a house where he is too scared to ask me something. I remember once asking my dad for school shoes, because I know my mom was complaining that money was tight. My dad bought me the shoes without even blinking an eye, he would do anything for me. My mom found out, and she was so mad with me not coming to her, she was also cross with my dad for buying me the shoes. And that only about shoes........... I can totally see why you don't have contact with your mother anymore.

Elrike - hoop jy voel al beter, en nie meer sad nie. Weiss is 'n beautiful naam, jou pa en boeta sou definitief bitter trots gewees het. Hoewel ek is seker hulle IS! En sjoe, net 6kg??? Wow! Ek het seker al 14kg opgetel, ek is te bang om op 'n skaal te klim nou, ek voel net groter as laasweek.

Chanz, I also feel like the size of a house... no, more like a mansion! Never been this big before! If you'd like, Builder's Warehouse has these wall stickers of wild animals and stick on borders as well. You could try that. In their light section they also have all sort of nice animal light fixtures for bedside and even ceiling lights. Absolutely cute and would add colour nicely.
