Oktober & November 2011 Mammas

Hi you all!
Don't know how I'm feeling today. I didn't want to get up. Well, now I'm up, but feel short of breath. Kind of nauseous feeling, tired. I want to start the opperation of "uitgooi" ag don't know where to start...

Yesterday was a hectic day, had Moms & Tots, then had to fetch my SIL @ 12h00, because her car was in for a service... then we had at 14h00 a b'day party at a nursery school. The kids, was thinking I was one of the teachers - my friend said, she think I missed my calling.... (But not so sure if I have the patience with lots of small kids!!) I can handle my own!

Claire - I thought I was smaller, but don't think so anymore! Think this last week I popped out! Everyone was commenting yesterday about my bump... Will sometime take a pic and post it!

Chanz - ons sal maar sien of hy chubby gaan wees!!!

Lizel - Slim plan om so goedtjies oor die maande te koop vir babatjie! Ek het mooi somer babygrows by PnP gister gesien vir seuntjies, en oulike kleertjies by Ackermans vir dogtertjies.... LOL Die seuntjie klere is nog bietjie skaars vir die somer, alhoewl ek vragte het van Luwan se 0-3 maande klere...

I must go and do some bloodtests... I forgot about that! Wed the sister was doing her rounds, and yesterday there was no time. My bloodgroup is A- and dh is B+ . I had all the injections with Luwan as well, so I will get it again as from next month!

How are we all feeling today? I am exhausted...but have caught the organising bug! (probably from Skitter!) So spent Colby's nap time sorting and organising instead of napping...might regret it later!

Lizel - I'm sure you are far from fat! Not nice when the clothes stop fitting though! My (.)(.) are HUGE! No top fits modestly anymore...and I refuse to wear polar necks for the rest of this pregnancy!

Elrike - cute man! Baby's growing so nicely! Its nice that you're smaller this time around.

Chanz - lots of good ideas! Please upload some photos of the baby room. Even if it's not finished, I would love to see.

Ok, I forgot everything else I wanted to comment on. Oh well.

Has anyone looked into having a Doula for the birth? I am interested in it but can't find any info on what the costs would be.

I have terrible heartburn. Can hardly sleep at night. Ug! This baby better have so much hair!

Chanz, I bought stuff each month for baby, that I knew no one would get me. I am glad I am not the only one feeling fat Bought some maternity clothes at truworths yesterday and when I step into the shop the assistant gave me one look and pointed to the pregnancy clothes

It is a great idea to do the chrismas shopping before the rush and everything

Hello to all the other mommies-to-be

I also have the urge to nest. But since I have been told by my sister not to buy anything till my baby shower, I can't really shop but cant wait for my shower. Everyone is being so secretive lol My brother and his fiance are getting me a real nice swing/rocker from calora. can't wait to get it. I feel like a kid on christmas day.

So a suggestion my sister gave me, since most of us are expecting just before christmas, do your christmas shopping now. That way you wont get in between the christmas rush with a newborn. My sister gave birth in November and what a pleasure not to have to worry about christmas shopping.

so is anyone getting a little nervous about their babies arrival?
