Lizel, sorry to hear about your friend it really is sad. Sjoe it hits home, we could have been in her shoes. But I do believe things happen for a reason, even though it may break our hearts at times. (((Big Hug)))

Liz, what a gorgeous name A very blessed little boy And I totally get where you are coming from with regards to your parents, my parents were the same. But just when I thought things were coming right they got divorced in 2008. Yip after 21 yrs of marriage. After that it has been my motto to make sure my child won't have the same negativity. I don't keep in contact with my mother anymore (we were close like sisters until the day she walked out). Very sad. Old people say its your mother and you shouldn't be like that. But I do believe respect and honesty goes both ways. When a parent walks out on a child, its up to them to make initiative.

AFM- man I feel huge. I am getting out of breath so quickly too lol. Hubby finds it very amusing. We still tryna figure out how to add colour to the baby room without painting murals on the walls. We have settled with a wildlife theme though. Any ideas?

Sjoe! I've missed sooo much. I've tried to catch up but here's just too much, so I'll just pick up from here. I've been away busy on a project and have had very little little time to post my chats. I've been reading a few posts though from time to time.

Liz, sorry about your mom. We all learn from our parents mistakes and can only strive to be better parents and partners.

AFM: Everything is going well. I think the last update I put on here was that we're expecting a girl? Well, it turns out he's a little boy! Thank goodness I hadn't started buying things yet. My next app is tomorrow so I'll give you a better update then. Apart from being as big as the titanic and still having nausea , nothing else major to share. Have you ladies started with the baby rooms yet? Apart from a few items of clothes I've seen when out shopping, I haven't really bought much...

Liz - ek kan nogal dink jou skoonpa is in die wolke oor die name. Ek is seker enige persoon oupa's of oumas wat vernoem word is baie trots! Ek glo as my pa en boetie nog geleef het so hulle net so in die wolke gewees het met Weiss se naam... Ek doen dit ter herinnering aan hulle... Ag vrek nou huil ek alweer... Vandag is ek net "sad"...

Ek het nou al altesaam 6 kg opgetel... Ek voel kleiners as wat ek was met Luwan! Maar tog lyk dit op foto's dat ek dieselfde met is... Sal maar sien op die einde!

Ons gaan Woensdag weer dokter toe, dan sien ons vir Weiss... Ek kan nie wag nie! Eintlik kan ek nie wag om die klein meneertjie te ontmoet nie!

Hahaha Lizel, dis reg wat jy vir jou skoonma gesê het!! Ek kan nie verstaan hoekom mense heeltyd op mens se gewig en boepie kommentaar lewer nie. I was in such a state Friday night.... I know my mom and dad fights a lot, always has been that way. I grew up like that, ugly words being thrown around like daggers. And then my dad told my sister what my mom told him on Friday....she said he is lower than snake sh*t, and she wish she never met him. That hurts like hell, and he is working his butt off to make ends meet (he has his own courier bussiness, and she works for him). He is such a good man, I don't know what's happening with my mom. I cried the whole night, very upsetting. And my sister is still living with them, I can't imagine what it must feel like for her to be in that house. Horrible. I just know that my kids will never grow up like that!! I'm striving to be a better person than my mom!

The inlaws came to our house for lunch yesterday, had such a good time. They came to look at all our baby goodies, FIL was very impressed with the pram, hehehe. We also told them the name of our LB. Paul Rudolph Dreyer, FIL is very impressed, wish I took a picture of his face when we told him!
