So last week I went and had my blood test, and luckily I did because the dr called me the next day to say my progesterone is low. She gave me pessaries (2 a day). I have to take them at least until I see her for the first time which is the 18th October.

Have any of you had low progesterone?

My ms has settled down and my (.)(.) arent as sore as they were. I am tired a lot and hungry a lot.

I am definitely going to go natural. Open to the epidural idea. Will talk to my dr about it when I see.

I heard that while you're preggers you should take extra omega 3 for the babies brain. Do any of you take extra omega above your multivitamin?

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

Hi mybrat

Your pregnancy is worked out from the first day of you last period - so if yours was 30 August, then you are roughly 5 weeks and 3 days today. You probably fell pregnant around 13 September. Your EDD is 5 June 2012.

For you to have found out on 20 September is really early - it was only a week after ovulation.

Congratulations!

Hi Michelle and all the other lovely mommies to be

I am so glad it is Friday!! I have had a bit of a rough week and really need this weekend to chill.

My first Gynae visit is going to be on the 24th October. I am really looking forward to it as I would like to find out exactly how far I am.

Maybe someone can help? On the 20th September my GP said my blood tests said I am 3-4 weeks, which brings me to 7-8 weeks today.

On the 17th August (my husband and I tried for a baby), i got my period on the 30 August and found out i was preggies on the 20th September..... is there a way to actually work it out this way???

For now, I would like to try natural birth as my first option, unless under other circumstances I will go to C-Section

Hope you all have a stunning weekend!!!

Hi all!! Hope everyone is having a great friday, I'm really looking forward to this weekend- I need it badly :pinch:

Today baby seems to pushing up and out, seriously uncomfortable in my pants today!! I guess it's time to go wardrobe shopping.

Have any of you given any thought as to whether you're going for natural or c-section? I had natural with my daughter 11 years ago and not to boast or anything, but considering some of the stories I've read and heard over the years I really had it easy with her. I went into labour spontaneously the night before her due date at about 8pm and she was out 6am on her due date... a friend who'd had her baby about 6 months before me gave me the advice to try and stay on my feet as long as possible, so I did. I walked and walked and walked up and down the corridor outside the labour ward at McCords Hospital, until I couldn't walk anymore- which was at about 4am and then the midwives insisted that I stay put on the bed. That was the only time I experienced any real pain- when they made me lie down, but they gave me gas which was lovely- I remember asking if I could take a canister home with me!! So I'm really really hoping that I have it that easy this time round again. Crossing all fingers and toes!!

Welcome Nadine, Sischa and SuzM :) wow, this group is growing quickly.

Michelle and Champers, glad that your appointments went well. My first appointment is on 31 October when I should be about 8 weeks. Stacey, have you had your appointment yet today?

Hayley, so sorry to hear about the BFN. But I read about your POA in the ttc thread and I think it sounds good :)

Sweett86 - I take Solgar vitamins normally but I didn't think they had a pre-natal one, I was so excited to hear that you are taking them - Now I am going to hunt them down (in particular because they are one of the few brands over here which are vegetarian, although I'm not vegetarian, I only eat halal and it's been really tough finding vitamins here!)

Bronz, I'm in Cambridge, Massachusetts - Cambridge is kind of like a suburb of Boston, it's lovely because we're close to the big city yet Cambridge has a university town feeling about it.

In terms of symptoms, I feel like I alternate between being hungry (REALLY hungry and needing to eat almost constantly) and being tired (like falling asleep at 7:30pm kind of tired). No ms yet - I'm praying that none will come!
