HEELLPPPPP!!!! Ok I am now totally confused and not too sure what to think.

I just got back from my 1st Gynae visit. Here goes and how I can best explain it and if anyone can please give some advice?

20th September - I went for my first blood test to confirm pregnancy. My HCG Level was sitting at 5301.0 and I was told that at the time i was 6 weeks pregnant.
Which should bring me to 9-10weeks pregnant today

Today - I went to the Gynae. According to the internal scan she did, the baby measured at 6W2D, but left us with concern that there might be multiples due to high HCG levels which was taken on the 20th September.

I was sent for more blood tests (which i should get the results back in about 2 days time) and will have an idea of what my current HCG level is sitting at.

I will be going back in 3 weeks for another scan

Does this lead towards multiples - having a high HCG level at technically 3 weeks (but according to GP and blood test 6 weeks)

Hi Ladies

I am 4-5 weeks pregnant with my second LO. I am also a June 2010 mommy and have a LG. I found out exactly a week ago that I was pregnant and my hgc count was only 9. I did another bloodtest this morning and the count was 282! My first appointment is on 7 Nov when I will be 8 weeks.

Monday I had some bad MS but since then nothing. Is this normal? With my LG MS only started at 11 weeks and lasted till the day she was born! With my daughter I craved coke and white smartie chocolate. I do not normally eat white chocolate.

We have a couples baby shower coming up and the theme for the gifts are "something that will make the new daddy's life easier". It doesn't need to be baby related. Any ideas?

Well I had a baby 2.5 years ago and I have never stopped looking 4-6 months pregnant depending on the time of the month Ah, the joys!!

I also craved very different things with both my previous pregnancies and I did ending having one of each. It's weird to think that at the end of this pregnancy i will either have two boys and a girl or two girls and a boy.

I from this morning feel totally off milk which I normally love dairy products. Now this is a symptom I didn't have with either of my pregnancies before, I devoured milk with both of them. I normally love mayonaise on everything and now I am struggling to eat this chicken wrap I bought because of the mayo. I do however really feel like fruit and that is one symptom I had with my daughter and not with my son so maybe it's another Girlie... That would be cool, my daugther will be thrilled and so will I. Girls are so much easier. I don't mind though, aslong as Bean is healthy and comes easily on the Birthday.

I will have another ceaser because I am too s*ht scared of changing doctors and my doctor wont consider VBAC eventhough it is something that I really really have thought alot about over time. I have a friend who is a Doula who has been at many VBACS and I might ask her to come chat to me. Because I have already had 2 C-Secs it's considered quite risky to do the VBAC thing. Oh I don't know, so much to think about and consider. Things I do know is that I am desperate to Breasfeed again and this time I am certain that I will get it right in the recovery like I wanted last time. I also really really want my baby to do a breast call. have you ever heard of this? I watched an amazing video once some time back and the minute I saw it I knew I wanted to try it. I'll look for the video and come post the link if I do find it again.

Just went and couldn't resist buyng another outfit for the nameless one...... Arggghhh the name game, wow, that could be quite hectic because now we want to keep the sex secret and we couldn't even decide on one name with our previous kids let alone 2.

Hi everyone!
I think I spoke too fast... On the weekend my ms was gone then on Monday it came back with a vengeance!!!! Yuck! I keep feeling like I need to run to the loo to vomit but then nothing. It is worst in the mornings and after dinner. At least ginger tea and sweets are giving me some relief. I think the progesterone pessaries the dr gave me might be making the ms worse.
This is my first baby (I think it's gonna be a girl). It is so exciting. I just keep thinking how bizarre it is that there is a person growing in me.

Cops search for abducted schoolgirl

A search is underway after a 17-year-old pupil from Hoerskool Die Burger in Roodeport was apparently kidnapped on her way to school on Wednesday morning.

Louisa de Waal and her friend were walking to school in Bergbron near the Gordon Road off ramp, when an unmarked, silver-grey Hilux bakkie pulled next to them.

The friends then tried to run away.

A paramedic witnessed the incident.

“As they tried to start running, the guy jumped out of the driver seat, pulled out a gun and grabbed Louisa. Her friend also grabbed Louisa and he told her if she didn’t let go, he would shoot both of them,” she said.

The suspect was described as a white male with brown hair and a beard.

He was wearing grey cargo pants.

Florida police’s Paul Fern said a massive search has been launched.

“We have contacted Vodacom to try and trace her cell phone. Her cell phone is switched off at the moment. We’ve got air wing trying to locate the bakkie and Louisa has brown hair with blonde highlights and was wearing her school uniform, a white shirt and brown tartan skirt," he said.
