Hi All,

My due date is the 11th of July 2012 and im so far 13 weeks to the day
Very exciting!! trying to get all my vitamins in. Taking Preg Omega Plus everyday -
SO far, no nausia! Just extremely tired! cant seem to get keep my eyes open most days. My next scan is the next week, 9th Jan! Cant wait to see how much he/she has grown!! And cant wait to find out what sex it is

I just posted in another thread but found this one as well. Since I am due end June, I'm sure I will find more moomies in the same pregnancy timeline as me.

I'm so glad I found an online community based in SA. I just happened to come across this one while doing my endless research on VBAC options in SA. I am 13 weeks along so due at the end of June or beginning of July... depends on when this little acrobat is planning to make his appearance. (at my 12 week NT scan sonographer said there is a 70% chance of being team blue!)

I am 36 years old and have one adorable and very spirited 2 year old daughter. Wasn't planning on having baby 2 due to age (and the fact that one just tires me out completely!) but here I am now almost 14 weeks, looking already like I'm 6 months preggies and still enjoying bouts of all day sickness.

I've been living in Dubai for almost 7 years now and after my first very negative birth experience, I have decided I'm going to have a VBAC with bubs 2 in SA. Don't know how we going to pull this one off but I have already contact Genesis Clinic who have given me contacts of Midwives and have contacted the resident OB/Gynae Dr Mia. Just hoping that everything falls into place in time.

Welcome and Congrats!

I also have all day sickness I have found that there are things that aggrivate so I try stay away from them. Rich food, hot (temperature) food, bigger portions, very flavourful food (like those rotisserie chickens from woolies with all the spices). Trying to stick to fairly bland food for now and lots of water!!!

The preggie vits do make it worse as well - my doc said folic acid is fine until 12 weeks so Im also sticking to that, and taking it at night.

I can still button my jeans (but only just) - I bought one of those expander belts but found that even the smallest one is still too big

I am 10weeks preggies with my first. Due date changed from the 10th of July 2012 to the 7th of July with my last scan.

I have all-day morning sickness. Tried everything - nothing seems to work. From Vomifene tablets to Essex syrup, ginger etc. Hoping it will subside or go away completely by 12 weeks
Stopped taking my pregnancy vitamin and am now only taking Folic Acid in the evening. I found that the pregnancy vitamin made the nausea much worse!

It feels like my tummy has grown lol. I can't wear my jeans anymore as they are super tight. Want to get one of those Belly Bands, then i will try them again

Very quiet here.

Well I started spotting a little last week my doc sent me for bloods and all was looking good but spotting didn't stop. Went for bloods again this morning and phoned to let her know spotting hadn't stopped and she said I should come see her. She did an internal scan and saw the fetal pole and I think the heartbeat...was all so quick! anyway, I'm measuring a little behind the 7 week mark but bloods are consistient with that so she is happy. She has put me on progesterone to help with the bleeding and I am going back again on the 19th instead of the 12th.

Feel so much better that I got to see something even if it is only as big as a grain of rice. (wonder why it's making me feel so fat then? LOL)

Did some shopping with my mom the past two weekends. Got an adorable baby bag at Mr Price home, two pairs of mat pants at woolies, a t-shirt at Mr P and the most gorgeous soft warm fluffy baby blankie at Pick 'n Pay! The most expensive thing was the mat pants from woolies R275 each!!!

Chantel - that is so exciting! Can't wait my 1st scan is on 12 December @ 8 weeks. Can't wait!

I got a new job - very nervous of telling them about the pregnancy but I was already at the final phase when I found out. I will be 11w when I start there.

@ Dinky - Yes I did see the heart beat. It was very active, was jumping up and down even stretched arms and legs Was amazing

@ Adele - Thanks it was amazing to see what was actually growing in me, feels much more real now!

@ Shonna - Congratulation, and hope you have an amazing healthy pregnancy
