Hey ladies, sorry for being so scarce, things are hectic at work, only 10 more working days till I start training my replacement! Can't wait, but we are implementing a lot of changes which I first have to work out exactly how to cope with, but can't do it since my daily work load extends past my working hours.

At the moment I start working just before 8 and rush to fetch B just before 12, then rush home and do the housewife thing. This week I have to make 10 lemon meringues for Friday (have a bake sale for a local charity and the people who bought the 10 last year asked if I can please make some more this year)

Was 15 weeks on Thursday and the crappy taste in my mouth only started going away in the 13th week, the tiredness is much better but I still get exhausted quicker, specially with a very active almost 3 year old, as I'm still a SAHM for half the day and hubby is starting to work more and more overtime.

babyzee, I know what you mean, I have the same terrible taste in my mouth. I still told my hubby the other day Im so sick of this sh*t taste in my mouth.

Ms_s if i has a choice i would most def go the viginal way. A csec is a major surgery that takes even up to a year to heal fully. Atleast with vaginal you can be mobile soonest and even take a shower. But this is just me everyone has their preference.

Shucks masaneo, I can't see myself popping R700 for a gynae consult each time...I'll rather go to a clinic! I haven't even considered a hospital yet.. But its definitely somewhere in cpt.

Babyzee, I had a dry metal taste in my mouth for a few days, that no amount of water or drinks could make go away. I understand with a c-sec you won't be bedridden or anything, but recovery is different for everyone. My sis-inlaw had an unplanned c-sec a few days before my wedding to her brother, and she wasn't able to attend. We did go visit her though, in wedding attire and everything

I must confess, I've seen both a c-sec and vaginal delivery...and I fainted during the vaginal delivery . So I'm just generally scared of both options at the moment!

if the baby makes you eat, i say eat because MS is the worst thing eva! rather eat than vomit

Ms_s with a c-sec you start moving around on the second day after three days you are walking fine. Just remember to take your meds. Re: eating all the time thats me here, i do the same. I mentioned it to my doc he told me to try chewing gum that way i will not gain lots of weigh, i tried it and it made me more hungry so i just eat all i want problem is the indigestion thoug

Congrats Mags already in the second tri i envy you, are you planning on finding our the sex of baba in 2wks?

Does anyone else get this bitter taste in the mouth? Everything tastes terrible.

i am also so happy its the weekend i wont have to come to work while sick. wow Magz you are so luck you are past the first trimester, i envy you. i am only seeing my baby on the 08/06/2012 when i am 12 weeks and i hope that the doctor will be able to tell me the sex of the baby.

what sucks is that the day to day funds on my medical aid are exhausted and i have to pay R700 for a scan and R 400 it sucks to be me right now.
