November / December 2012 Babies

I am just so sleepy, the weekend i slept most of the weekend away. Whole family was sick, so we all just slept.

Boomboom, that is really along time to wait.

I am with Dr P Zinn at kingsbury hospital in Cape town. He is fantastic.
I prefer a male gynae to a female, the female gynae i saw and heard of is very cold. Where as the male gynae's are more caring.
Your daughter will all to happy if she has a little brother.

I hope Im going to be able to last till then, I remember with my daughter I was 9 weeks when I went for my scan, and then she was just a little bean still and then at 14 weeks you could see an actual baby. So this time, she will be going with me and she will be confused if she doesnt see a baby so waiting till she can see a baby and maybe find out the sex too coz she is telling everyone she is going to have a sister, and I would like to know for sure so that I can start preparing her should it not be a little sister for her!

What gynae's are you ladies with?I am with a new medical aid now so I wont be able to go to my normal gynae as Im on network option and she is not on the network option and will have to go to a male doctor too, which im very very nervous for!

Hi Isha, Glad you are joining us. By 30th April baba should be nice and big so lots to see.

Boomboom dont worry about your LG she will love the baby and be so helpful my two lil ones play very well together and are protective over each other.

AFM i feel so tired and sleepy i cant even keep my eyes open. Yesterday immediately i got home from work i took a nap, i couldnt keep my eyes open. I cant wait for my next week appointment.

No i havent been to the gynae, i did go for a scan at the GP last week. I was 6w1d.
Only going to the gynae 30 April. I am so tempted to make he appointment earlier cause i am so paranoid because of my history.
My last LMP was 19 Feb. So if you ovulated on time then you should be 7 weeks. It can be that you just ovulated late.

When you going to the gynae? Are you really gonna be able to wait so long?

My LG is 21 months, i talk to her already about the baba. Going to try to do lots of preparation with her. Really dont want her to feel left out or neglected.

Isha - Have you been to the gynae already?If I do my calculations correctly with a LMC on the 14 Feb....then I should be 8 weeks now but when I did the blood test it said I was 1-2 weeks and doing that calculation I should be 6 weeks so Im not exactly sure how far I really am.

Babyzee - I too have a LG of 3 years old and she is so excited, she just wants a little sister..Cant wait to go to the doctor and see our little baby, but said I would wait till Im about 12-14 weeks before going to the gynae.

So how you guys feeling so far?Dont know if its my imagination but I think I am showing already, in a way I hope im carrying twins but at the same time I would be very scared of that...I am already scared of having a little 1 and my 3 year old...Afraid that she might think I am neglecting here and have abandoned her for a new baby, she is my world, my everything and we are very very close!I have so many plans for her when baby comes and will always try my best to keep her involved when baby comes, let her take out babies nappies, clothe's etc...

Even after all the fears I am very very excited as I wanted this for a long time, only wanted a 2 year gap between my kids but God had other plans for hubby and I...

I got my BFP last week Thursday i am looking at a due date of early Dec. Might probably be late Nov. This is my third got a DD 4yrs DS turns 2 in August i have an appointment with my gynae next Tuesday to confirm.
