Mosa your pics are hot mama you've kept yourself well. That boss of yours is from hell and i do agree with Punchysmum he definitely likes you and that's they only way he can communicate with you. For now just ignore him and do your job best you can its not easy getting a job this late in pregnancy and a while on maternity leave you can actively seen other employment. Don't jeopardize your leave pay maybe he wants to stress you enough so that you leave and he doesn't pay you. Dont give him the satisfaction.

Ladies i almost fainted yesterday, i had gone to Home Affairs and as usual there was a queue, when it was my turn i just went faint i couldnt stand anymore and i was just seeing darkness. One of the guys gave me a chairs and brought me some water. It happened like twice, i was so scared coz i had to drive all the way back to work I just sat there for sometime under the ac until i felt better. I wanted to go to the doc immediately but i know he will say its common and charge me emergency my next app is Friday. I will tell him then.


Oh and nowadays i have a weird craving for ice. Not ice cubes but the ice that accumulates in the freezer. You should see me with a spoon scrapping it off, lol hubby keeps scolding that i will get a cold.

we dont have bonus nor 3th cheques here. so i am depending fully on my mum to help me out. hubby just got a job and the salary is not that good. its not even our rental money but as i always say a bread of butter is better than nothing. he gets medical aid and other benefit but they pay him nonsense.

Punchysmum, can't believe what you also had to go through. It is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!! Where do you work?
I don't get my full salary when on maternity leave. They pay 70% but my boss wants me to claim UIF cause he says I pay for it every month & he doesn't want me to lose out on it. He said he'll give me that 4 months UIF money back as a bonus when I get back from Maternity leave & my hubby's company said that they will pay our lg's school fees for 6 months while I'm on maternity leave.

i had a boss like that when i was working in stores 3yrs ago. Can believe i have worked for this company for 5yrs and still they pay me peanuts.
He went to an extreme of calling my bank and asking them how i finance my car for i changed from driving a dodge to an audi A4 20 tdi within two years. He accused me of stealing spares from stores and was asking my family members of how do i afford renting a townhouse and paying my car including my living expenses

Long story short i got a written warning from HR they called KPMG and then i was fined for not invoicing an invoice before 1 month. Kaki said to them and asked them how many of us within the company do that. I received no answer. But eventually when i moved from stores guess what he called me in his office and told me that he likes me a lot. I was shocked till today. I HATE the man with passion for i love working at stores and now i am working as a call coordinator which pisses the hell of me. But i learnt that if i don’t make change in my life who will.

You must move its not healthy for you and the baby at the moment.
I just completed my maternity leave documents now with HR. She is so worried that i’m going to pop anytime. My leave starts 19 nov till 18 march with one month’s unpaid.
Doesn’t bother me but she said something like what if we require you to come before you leave ends will you be able to? I said to her it comes with a price. Waiting to see what she has in store.

SO please do apply for jobs when on maternity leave.
Our work policy states that if the you go on maternity leave you need to stay with the company for 12 months especially if your going to get your 100% salary each month. Does yours state the same

Can you believe my boss calculated all the minutes i was late in June and July and said i must put in a 'day's leave to make up for that day, hai i dnt believe this guy, i really dnt.

Mosaneo, don't lie, you posted so many times just to show off that gorgeous bump & slim figure!!! Just joking. Lovely bump & stunning bod girl!!!!!
Let's hope baby will wait until hubby can be there for you. I agree that your son needs alot of attention & love now BUT unfortunately there are alot of things to get ready before baby arrives & he needs to understand that. The kicking in the ribs can get quite painful but it gets hectic towards the end when they are so much bigger & pushing into those ribs I'm sure you'll get a surprise baby shower

Magz, it sucks that DH don't have the stomach for hospitals & this whole labour thing but he really needs to be there for you. Maybe get him something at the pharmacy to keep him calm or speak to your gynae & see what he suggests.
If you are unsure on how many clothes or receiving blankets to take, phone the maternity ward & ask them

pales, good luck on the spring cleaning & also agree that things need to be cleaned before baby arrives. Have you tried maybe drinking some milk for the hearburn? As for the packing, maybe phone the maternity ward & find out & remember, hubby can also bring extra things. Just keep that in a seperate bag at home & he can just bring it along.

Punchysmum, that is really so nice of your mum. I also want a new bed ha ha ha
R1000 p/n for dh to stay @ the hospital is ridiculous. I'm sure he'll have loads of time to bond with baby when he comes & visits! I also don't have plenty of friends but I prefer a few close friends. I've got a big family so I have lots of cousins & so on but I'm sure you'll get a babyshower somehow. The contractions you are experiencing is braxton hicks - I know it can become quite painful. As for those baths with clothes in, try game, baby boom, baby city, edgars, jet & so on. I'm not sure of price though.

Marijke, I'm also struggling to sleep comfortably & wake up I don't know how many times a night. I understand perfectly how it goes being a SAHM. People think you've got all the time in the world & is such an easy job - IT'S NOT! I was lucky to be at home for more than a year & a half with my lg but it's hard work. They keep you busy, you have to clean, cook etc.

Ms_S, I also have zero energy. I'm struggling to clean, still have to sort out my daughter's room. Just don't in the mood to do anything. Shame, can't believe DH had such a bad experience with blood. How the hell did he manage to smell the blood? Maybe he's like Edward in Twilight hahahaha. Good luck with the move. It doesn't seem like the ideal thing but hey, what can one do? Just make the most of it. I know how it feels!

Clueless, nice to hear from you again. It really is frustrating when the server bombs out on you! Sounds like you had a wonderful shoot. I also had mine last week sunday & only lifted my top to expose my tummy I've got my 2nd maternity shoot with a lovely lady & will probably be more comfortable to shoot in lingerie or without a top or something like that but not with a strange man!!! hehe
Can't believe your big day is around the corner. Just relax & breathe! I know it's alot of emotions running through your body now but it's gonna be okay. I'm not sure about the jungle juice regarding bleeding.

Hi Ladies!

Missing you all sooo much! I'm posting from my phone again, and have been keeping track of everyone's posts on here, but every time I try and ppost a reply the damn server logs me out So hope this time lucky!

I had my pregnancy shoot this weekend, a friend who is also a photographer did it for me. I had no idea it would involve half-nude pics (as well as a couple of picks with NO clothes)! It was a lot of fun though, especially since she is a friend, so wasn't awkward.
I will post some of the not-so-risky pics when I get them. Apart from that I did do some packing, also still worried about what to pack, so ended up packing ALL the newborn stuff I had! So now I will have to take some out again, but not sure which ones. I got some Carriwell sleep shirts for myself (they make breastfeeding so much easier, it seems), and that's about it!

My C-sec still scheduled for next Friday. I'm extremely scared and uncertain, and so is poor hubby! Still have to make up some Jungle Juice. Does anyone know if its safe to drink BEFORE going to hospital? I.e. Won't it make you bleed more during birth or something?

Anyway, let's see if this post goes through, then I will post some more...
