Marijke, i thought it was strange for my hubby to be gaining weight but if yours is gaining as well does it means its normal???
I am forever angry at him. Dont want him to touch nor kiss me. I just hate it when he does it. I think at times i’m being to insensitive but on the other had he should understand that i am pregnant.
I havent packed my bag as yet for i am awaiting for the bag from the medical aid. Dont really want to have too many bby bags in the house. I am getting one from the hospital, medical aid and Dischem.
That is too much.
Q- do you wash your new bby clothes after buying them??

Hi Pale.

hi Momtoc
i spoke strongly to my hubby yesterday for he is the second oldest. I told him since your dad has passed away years back in our sotho culture it makes the oldest sons the men of the house.
Speak to your brother to have a meeting with your mother and sit these issues on the table. He agreed but on the other had i thought let me back off.. but again i have my pride and believes i don’t want to be part of a family where there’s no grounds set. I would rather have a MIL who is strict but understands why than a MIL who just goes with the flow. his uncle is a very straight forward person and if he knows all these things it will be like we also part of it.
I know myself and my mum we ague a lot but come to a conclusion at the end. She is a scorpion and takes no nonsense but is very loving and caring. Wrong is wrong and must be corrected before disaster happens

36 weeks and counting.

hey Mosa glad all went well with your app. babies growing nicely. you can always ask your gynae to book you off on bed rest coz the office drama is just disgusting.

Magz im having the same predicament the bag looks horribly full of unecessary things have been packing and unpacking. quick Q how many receiving blankets am i supposed to put in?

momtoc you are the busiest person i know i have been house bound by choice for weeks coz im feeling so lazy. when i go out it`s to my mothers for an hour or so (dont have much of a social life). im not a photo person i literally have 2 photos of myself pregnant.

Marijke are you on maternity leave yet? im wishing this baby comes by next week i seriously want my body back as well and a proper nights sleep( will be impossible when he`s here). im constantly agry with my hubby even if it`s nothing major. he was saying the other day that he wants his wife back coz he doesnt know this person i have become.

Hey everyone.

Nearing 37 weeks this side, going to see the midwife on Wednesday and the gynae on Monday for the final go-ahead, then possibly the midwife again the week after that.

On the one hand I'm hoping baby makes an appearance sooner rather than later, because I'd love to have my body back (don't get me wrong I'm enjoying this pregnancy much more than my first but I'm getting to a stage where everything is difficult) but on the other hand, things at home are going so slowly as I seem to be the only one trying to get everything done and I can only do one or two things a day before I need a nap or need to fetch the oldest. Very upset with the husband, don't know why - well I know why but sometimes I feel like I'm being unfair towards him, but I swear he hasn't done anything for the new baby yet, there are still things in the baby room that needs to be move out (he knows this) but gets home and falls asleep on the couch - he's gained over 10kg with this pregnancy and huffs and puffs more than me!

Good morning girls

Hope you all had a enjoyable, relaxing weekend!

Magz, hehehe, how many bags did you pack? 36 weeks already!!!!!

mosaneo, glad everything went well with your appointment & that baby is doing well. Strange that you must consult every 3 weeks & I have to consult every 2 weeks now  I also have about 6 weeks left of work & I'm seriously considering asking my gynae to book me off earlier........

Nadia, congrats on the twins. Hope you've had an easy pregnancy so far?

Punchysmum, I think all of us have these type of family members or inlaws hehehe. They either don't work & sponge off other people, have kids but can't really support them, doesn't even have matric & so the list just goes on! They think they don't have to work & can just meet a rich man & they sorted!!!! My sister in law also works on my nerves. She got pregnant when she was 20 years old & she & the bf were only together like 4 months or so, she just started a new temp job at the time & so the story goes..........I can write a book on both my SIL's!

I don't like surrounding myself with people like that..........I get worked up really, really quickly.

Ms_S, that is one thing that upsets me with these family/inlaws........when there are kids involved, everyone feels sorry for kids & then helps the mother out & they just never learn cause they know people will always just help. Please don't get me wrong, I hate seeing children suffer because of the parents lack of brains & I understand why everybody jumps in to help cause the children didn't ask to be here in the 1st place so why the hell must they suffer  Sorry, I just get so worked up & just sick & tired of children suffering the consequences.....Okay, I'm gonna count to 10 & breath hahahaha

AFM, had a good weekend. Had my cousin's 30th b-day party sat night. Had a good time! Had my maternity shoot sun morning. It went well......I think. Both hubby & I hate taking photos. I just don't look good on photos  My lg also got fed up here & there. She loves taking photos but she is not use to taking photos for an hour & then saying cheese & smiling the whole time..........they get tired!!! Will post some pics once I get it. I've got so much to say today but will post later on. Need to earn my salary now hahaha
