hey Clueless im 27 weeks now and i pray that i have gained weight coz that gaeny is going to freak out. and yes i still havent popped people just think i gained weight during the winter. i look at the pregnant ladies around me and their tummys are like almost on the floor. this tummy better pop soon i cant show off the way i want to.

it might be coz i was hiding the preganancy during my job hunting lol

Everyone's scan pics is so nice, its so special to be able to see them in 4d!

Clueless - he he, don't worry my jack russel sat under the cot the other day, seems I will have to put a pillow for them there! Your nursery looks so nice! Can't wait to see the finished product!

We are planning zoo animals (pic attached), and grey walls (pic attached). The cot and compactum are dark wood. Then also doing shelves above the compactum and a vinyl bible scripture against the dark focus wall. We aren't going over the top, keeping it plain (or so I hope). Just still need a feeding chair, they are either too expensive or not of a good quality.

The wall pic should be turned upright actually, the dark wall is on the left and the lighter wall on the right.

Oh Magz, I feel anything but super organised! Havent started buyng ANY baby clothes or stuff yet! I dont even know if I should get cotton cellular blankets or swaddling blankets, and what the difference is

Palesa, wow, are you 28 weeks and only picked up a TOTAL of 2 kg? Im now 29 weeks and picked up 7!

Clueless wow the 4D scans are amazing cant wait to get mine mext week.babies room is so cure.

im 28 weeks next week so guess who`s going shopping. cant wait i feel like im behind havent even started on the nursery all i know is that the babies big bro said the room has to be spiderman themed lol.

Hi Ladies!

Update: Had my 28 week visit and 4D scan on Monday, got VERY nice pics Baby girl (Mini-me) weighs about 1.3kg and everything else looks good! I started calling her Mini-me to hubby's annoyance, after we saw she has exceptionally long fingers, which she probably gets from me.



Mandri, our nursery is coming along slowly. We painted it light blue, even though its for a girl, cause the room is West facing and therefore pink, yellow or even cream would have been too warm a color in summer. And I LOVE blue! My mom helped with making curtains, and a roman blind (see picture, excuse Mars, he wanted to be included) to combine pink and blue. We put them up this weekend so it looks like a little girls room now.



We also ordered linen today, pink, blue and white with little scruffy doggies and kittens on. The theme was supposed to be fluffy puppies and kittens, but after the disney princess curtains (the only pretty material I could find combining the colors I liked) the theme now seems to be Blue-and-Pink and anything goes

After everything, hubby decided to install aircon anyway, cause its still impossible to keep that room at a constant temp (freezing in winter and boiling in summer). And he installed downlights, which I love!

Thats it for the nursery for now. My mom is making a large pink combo photo frame in mosaic, that will go on the wall next to the window. I still have to have an old lounge chair re-covered in pink to serve as a nursing chair, but havent got around to that yet.

What else are you ladies doing for nurseries? Any ideas?

babyzee, it is wonderful news that your boss took it so well. My little bean was also lying side ways about 3 weeks ago & had terrible pain on my right side due to him being side ways.....
Mandri, Haven't started on a nursery yet due to us moving in the next 2 weeks. It is definitely hard work. What theme are you going with? Ps. I haven't forgotten to post a bump pic, was just busy last night but will upload asap....

Magz, how cute is that 4D scan!!!!!!!! It is truly amazing when you see how they suck, swallow, move around etc..........

AFM, had my scan today......sorry babyzee, no pic this time. Will definitely upload when I go for my 4D scan in about 3/4 weeks time.
Baby is doing very well. Heartbeat was 150bpm, length is about 29cm & definitely a big boy weighing in at 601g He didn't want to show his face. He covered it with his hand but he wasn't shy in showing us his tools So far I've picked up +- 4.7 kilos in total which I'm happy with cause I know I've got a few months left & will be picking up a bit more as baby gets bigger....
